I will allways give you a thumbs up kate👍I love the furniture the table and chairs are beautiful and I love the color the transformation speaks for itself,the loungers look very nice too I'm not a perfectionist I would get bored,the only thing I would worry about is the wood rotting from the winter which I learned the hard way but I see that you put the wood stain that makes them waterproof and given me good ideas,thank you and well done,hi to dad hope your all well were all looking forward to a bit of sun now,thank you.mags xx ps lovely to see rufus and bestie wherever you go at home getting involved lol,🍰⚱🌷🌷🌷☕☀️🌞🌅👒🌊

I understand! My husband is the perfectionist, to the extent that I got 'sacked' from painting the front door and porch the other week because my work apparently did not come up to scratch. 😉 I loved the finished little table and chairs with the jug of tulips - so pretty.

In the USA I'm called a budget shopper. I buy through Market place everytime I find something I can use. I love to go to our Thrift Store or Goodwill. Best prices around. I'm known for buying at Yard Sales, Estate Sales, Garage Sales and pick it up at the curb. You've got a great eye. Love the steamer chairs and the table and chairs. I'd have to have cushions on the lounging chairs. My bum would be numb. 😁

Really good job and you are such fun. On the table and chairs you could consider spray painting a clear protective top coat to preserve the pretty paint job.

The little nook with the table and chairs looks so lovely, and you did a great job of painting them such a nice soft colour. Your steamer chairs were a great bargain and just needed a coat of wood stain to smarten them up. Roll on summer!

Kate this is my kind of vlog! If you buy a small can of exterior paint the same colour you could give it a top coat and the table and chairs would be protected. You can do the first couple of coats in interior and as long as you finish with one coat of exterior the furniture will be protected xxx

Silent watcher here but I thought I should tell you anything metal you need to paint for the garden buy Poundland car spray paint and primer it’s great and lasts.and old filling cabinets with drawers removed make great large planters for a large garden🍀

Really enjoyed and I'm a bodger too! I've just upcycled my lounge old fashioned pine furniture, converted a horrible old small chest of drawers into an open one with wicker inner baskets and repainted all. It was my first effort and so pleased! I'm going to do more now! Love your stuff and the sage green is gorgeous. I shall enjoy seeing more! 😁

Sand paper will help with the bleeding through issues or Zinsser primer, and the interior paint will fade quicker and won't handle weather conditions as well ...otherwise those are real cute table sets..

The setting was a real find! When finished it looked great in the corner of your garden. I think you should have used a "Rust kill" Primer as the rust will keep on coming through. I think you also needed to rub the table top with sand paper after brushing it to make sure it was smooth. I would have bought a small/medium roller rather than use a brush for the table top and chair seats as you would not see the brush strokes. Loved the cushions on the timber chairs!

I love the Steamer Chairs- I just bought one from my recycling centre- looks amazing , need some lovely weather to enjoy it. Love the sage green on your Cafe Chair set - looks lovely and muted which blends with the soft tones you have dressed it. These are awesome finds and such a beautiful color. I would protect it with a sealant...water based is good and do two coats of the seal. This will protect all your hard work. ❤️❤️

Practice makes perfect Kate, I was a novis when I came to up cycling now I love doing them, maybe a heat gun might of helped to strip the garden table of some nitromorse, but you did a lovely job in the end, and your green house is gorgeous.
