Nice Job! The bowl that was previously black and orangey wood has been transformed! Amazing! You really have an understanding of how to use the colors and the waxes to bring out tones that are pleasing. I understand how people are drawn to these videos. I, personally, am not a farmhouse decor person, but I now think that it is possible to take those same ideas and make them my own. I found a tiny cabinet and I am putting very small books in it (pocket NT and Psalms Bibles) to make a mini Library. You inspired me! Thank you sweet Sister in Christ! ❤

I had a giggle at your discovery of cream colored paint. I love the metal bowl and the one with a bit of wood showing best. I can testify you will fall for Dixie Bell! A tip...sand between coats with 320 grit make Dixie Bell like silk🤩😍💗

I love watching you redo anything I believe. I had some of the risers that Target Dollar Spot carried and I painted the bottoms black and I love that look! I even snagged some dough bowls they had but they are a weird kinda color so I’m definitely changing them up. I have learned a few things watching what you work on. Love them all and love the farm piece!!! That’s so awesome.

I’ve downsized into a smaller apartment style home so every square inch is important. I liked the bowls because they are decorative as well as functional. Function becomes a big thing when you live in a limited space, but no matter how small the space, beauty is important to.

Love that barn so much! Dixie Belle paint goes on much smoother than DIY, but it's so much harder to wet distress. Especially if you really let it dry like overnight. I like both for different reasons 😁

Ive been using Dixie Belle paint as well. I love it. I have a stockist near me so its easier to see real colors. Love me some dropcloth. Use it on lots of items. Love Caviar and rustic red too.

Even though I am not a fan of black, love learning and being inspired by your creativity. The metal one is my favorite. Didn't realize the detail on the little ones, you really brought them out. I would have loved to see the red and black bowl painted red and dropcloth or linen for a cheerful holiday vibe that could carry into warmer weather with apples, strawberries or cherries. Or even a geranium in it! I am currently watching while I eat lunch between upcycling washtubs and hurricane lanterns for auction. I finally tried Shadazzle cleaner I've had for awhile. It is amazing! Old silverplate bowls shined right up after being used outdoors! What is marvelous is no toxic smell or chemicals, just clay any other natural products. If you have not tried it, highly recommended. TFS.
