Trash to treasure Woodworking. Making a new reclaimed wood case for your old device. Simple DIY bluetooth speaker made using only scrap timber. Scrap wood came from my partners old pine wardrobe 🤫 😂 so I hope she'l like it. If you're interested how I've managed to repair this speaker you can watch this short which shows it all • Shorts
This is probably the longest video and the most difficult project I've created for my KZbin channel so far. This one is not an easy and not a simple project! A lot of work, even watching at a high speed. And I like the writing on the box! 😄

Ha you might be right… but you don’t really need super expensive tools to get it done. Well…. Apart from the laser engraving but this is optional. I like these weird projects. I could buy a simple Bluetooth pcb off Amazon and connect it to a set of speakers but this wouldn’t be fun at all. I brought this speaker back to life and it still sounds amazing. I’m glad you like it 😀

AHH-HAAA, now I see where you were going with the short of you repairing those blown capacitors!!! Nicely done my friend! Once again the laser engraving really sets it apart from just being a standard box. I bet putting the air port on the bottom and lifting it with the legs allowing the displaced air to hit a solid surface under the unit a increases the bass of the unit also, right? Looks great and nice upcycling again!

Thank you! Yes I could not let this speaker to end up in the waste. It sounded great and it sounds even better now. I’m not by any means speaker specialist but with a bit of research and creativity I’ve managed to bring it back to life. 👌🫣

Excellent Build! I immediately thought this could apply to a home projector. They are just plastic and ugly, might be nice to dress them up in oak or walnut!

Oak and walnut is super expensive here in the UK. That’s a great idea actually. I might make it out of pallets and scrap wood 👌🤣
