This is the best time of the year to take cuttings of woody plants to start new stock. I use sand as my grow medium and once I see roots in the clear nursery pot, it's time to plant them in soil. I am currently doing some elderberry to increase my orchard. HalleluYAH!! YAHUAH has blessed us with so much and I am so grateful 💕💕💕 to him and thankful for brothers like you!! Shalom

A couple years ago I ordered some Italian Cyprus miniature ones they’re not so gigantic. I have several of them in my yard and they are doing great. You know you have to make the best of where you’re at and just do what you want but I love where I live is when it’s super hot and people come over sometime friends family, it’s super hot out in the front but we walk to the backyard and it’s just nice and cool maybe hot out but just way cooler. The older I get I don’t like the heat I was young we would go to the lakes and just bake..I can’t really deal with that, but when it is warmer, I do stay out. I love to be outside night in the Pacific Northwest. It’s beautiful. I love when you can walk from inside the outside and there’s no temperature difference. But we’re not super cold here. Sometimes a little bit. Most of my family is all in California are Midwest, East Coast and mostly in Canada. My mom and me used to go up there all the time we have the most beautiful state and most people don’t know over in eastern Washington we have canyons and the Palouse is the most beautiful place. I think I’ve ever been to, and I’ve traveled to Italy a few times, Europe China Taiwan up and down the West Coast I’ve been to the East Coast Loved Atlanta. Northern Florida not much. China. I’ll tell you the the Palouse in Wa state in June is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen I couldn’t even take pictures I said I have to come back it’s in the eastern part of our state it’s and it goes into a little bit of Idaho but mostly Washington state it is the most gorgeous thing. I would say June 15 depends on that Weather it’s pink and purple and yellow and green and beautiful small hills. A lot of people don’t know about it. Tuscany of Eastern WA. State. Amazing.

The simple merger between gardening and prepping in your channel's title is what got me. Since i started I've looked at all my gardening as "survival gardening." Now i see it for the clever marketing scheme that it is. I'll always be composting everything and have learned a lot from this channel but i only watch 20 percent of the content now, prefering to share my quick methods with smaller channels. It turns out that the clickbattyness amounts to an extra dose of inspiration that is best carried into one's own garden. Bc of you, i know that cigarette butts can be composted, though it's not something to mention on this channel.

Even my husband was excited to see some tiny signs of life from the scion wood today. Thank you - maybe next year we'll have pears! I have bitter high bush blueberries on my property. Worth eating if you find them in the woods but not a good tasting berry. I was going to graft better blueberries but winter was so short and I was so busy that I missed my grafting window. I also have a red (black when ripe) low bush blueberry. I dug one up and gave it to Sam. He is still trying to find out the correct name for it. When I put in my house and driveway as well as my root crop bed I potted up more of those red blueberries. If you want any I can be sure to have some sent your way via Sam or I can drive to Atmore/Pensacola and go to one of the flea markets you sell at in the future.

After fighting with chat gpt that told me there are no native blueberries in Florida I got the demonic ai to tell me the name of this blueberry Vaccinium myrsinites also known as the shiny blueberry . I had been trying to use chat gpt to tell me this for months. I should be texting Sam the name but it’s 2:30ish am and not a good time for texting but since I will likely fall asleep soon and will forget I found the name it seemed like a good idea to post it somewhere online. I checked Wikipedia to see if they had a picture of the plant for some verification and I confirmed this is the plant I found. Maybe I get too excited over these things.
