I think the solution to what Nikki is saying about always assuming that people only like you because you presented a false version of yourself, is to prove yourself wrong. Don't do whatever things you think are "tricking" everyone into liking you, experience it being false, and retain that evidence. There's a quote about the treasure you seek being in the cave you fear to enter, and I think it applies.

So, a relationship does have the opportunity to heal emotional trauma. What happens though is that it takes a toll on the relationship. Through projective identification, we will recreate our past trauma with a partner, hoping we will get different results. If they leave us due to all our shit? It reinforces the past trauma. If they stick through it? It can heal it. The problem is that many leave because of our crazy shit lol.

From experience with depression getting out of bed became more difficult and the habit grew until i had difficulty moving. The awareness of the extent of the problem that could occur. Putting will effort to change the habit to attempting to do things to improve. When the tone of depression in the morning with a pondering and loss i recomend putting in the effort to have a path of existence doing things so the ability to move exists at a will power of a ability instead of not mobile depression. When there is not a difference between bed and moving with horrific violence and threats that continue to degrade attempts to improve. I wrote esther about some issues with what i think could be improved. I do not play because i do not condone slavery. I do promote improving the universal wellbeing and when there is credibility of concern and attempts to improve things i try to promote a loving community as a idea and example.

I relate so much to Nikki with the like "I wanna kill myself" and then I cry for like two minutes and I'm totally fine. Maybe the bad feels I have day to day get stored in some of the water in my body and the only way to feel better is to release it through the eyeballs...
@Bokertko Жыл бұрын
"If you ignore me I'll hurt my self" is the most manipulative, emotionally insecure/immature, and just over all lame, gross thing to do and say to someone. You're only threatening to / hurting your self to get your way and trying to get people to feel sorry for you because you're not getting your way. It's like a child throwing a temper tantrum banging their fists on the floor. I'm not trying to gate keep self harm there's all different facets of it. But don't say your doing it because you want to hurt your self out of not having emotional outlets or feeling worthless when really you're doing it to manipulate the good and humanity in another to get your way is horrible. Instead of just talking like an adult and figuring out if you can fix the problem that way. These games are stupid and disgusting, I'm a fan of Nikki but grow up.

It’s the same as when you self harmed, IT’S A CRY FOR HELP. It’s actually funny you think there’s a difference
@mirandah8864 Жыл бұрын
I did not interpret that as her literally saying that to her partner. It sounded like she was verbalizing a depressive feeling she has when she's in the circumstance where he's ignoring her. Based on everything else she said it seems like she and her dude are doing good and she's managing those tendencies in healthy ways even if the depression isn't gone and his behavior of needing to be alone hasn't completely stopped.
@Bokertko Жыл бұрын
@@FukYaLyf it's not the same. A cry for help isn't manipulating someone to feel bad for you to control them. If your entire reason for doing it is to control the other person that's manipulation. A cry for help is a cry for help. I have plenty of experience with both cases and it's not funny it's actually sad, that you don't realize the difference.
@FukYaLyf Жыл бұрын
@@Bokertko You and her resulted to self harm when your needs or wants weren’t met, YOUR THE SAME. That’s why it’s funny. Who is to say she wouldn’t self harm?
