I'd say you are very slug! Took me about 15 years to break out of answering to everything with nasty comments, because my brother and his friends, as well as my piers, repeated I was a POS as I grew up. For a while I thought being edgy was the answer for me, because I liked the attention. Now I'm all about repaying my agressive and offencive behaviour, and continue that trail for the rest of my life. My parents and adults didn't really fail me, because I hid it with a big H. They just thought I was a loner. Crazy, but true. The manly man who talked about his and mine feelings in my life, my grandfather (the WWII veteran crossing the atlantic 9 times during the war, building his cabin in the woods bare handed), passed when I was 11, just when I needed his guidance. It's still the most heartbreaking moment of my 39 year old life. No one to blame, just a crisp mind because I got good at hiding problems.

The cupcake thing was obviously weird to non-LAers. Most people, even if they were on a diet, would not be so harsh with themselves on-air for fear of coming-off as having an eating disorder. However, these women have fans because they are authentic and vulnerable. It would be off-brand to edit out moments like this. We can look-up to them for overcoming some of their past traumas and also empathize with them having on-going body issues as women fighting for their livelihoods in Hollywood. I for one, am glad they shared those moments with us.

@nameless.faceless.2 жыл бұрын
@@01Elvi so you are expecting them to show up as something they aren’t because other people can’t handle seeing them be who they are? Aren’t WE here for them? They can’t live that way. Also, that can be just as toxic. Hide who they are so it can fester in the darkness? No thanks. We can just not watch if we decide they should start changing for us. I don’t think it’s even possible to filter parts of yourself that way on a show like this, and it definitely wouldn’t be the same show if they tried. Also, in my opinion, they didn’t say anything wrong or triggering. They even addressed some things that could be unhealthy about the goop thing, but that doesn’t mean they need to be forced to eat a whole cupcake that was given to them at random, it’s not like they had chosen that for themselves. It’s ridiculous to be mad at girls for not wanting a whole SUGAR FILLED cake. They may be on a health journey and I’m sorry, I’m not mad at a person for enacting control over very unhealthy foods, especially when they didn’t say a single shameful thing about anyone eating it or doing that just to stay skinny. They really gave no reasoning and I think you might be forgetting that Annie has talked about having binge problems with junk food, so maybe that’s actually triggering and going against growth in her life.. but that’s never considered right? Because they’re now slaves to us, I guess? We expect to much from the people we see on a screen. It’s ridiculous.

@nameless.faceless.2 жыл бұрын
@@taylorfarry5286 um.. do you realize that’s still a you problem? why would you be disappointed in them for not wanting to eat a full cupcake they didn’t get for themselves?! this is insane. they didn’t even make the choice to have that there and our portions here are NOT normal. it’s literally not even normal or healthy to think someone should have to eat the full thing just because they like it or because it’ll trigger you if they don’t.. so your reasoning is flawed. y’all need to do work on yourselves instead of expecting the world to be catered to you because you’ll literally never heal or grow with that mindset. . And I have also struggled hardcore with an ED so don’t act like saying that entitles you to be disappointed in someone else for what they simply did or didn’t eat. if they said something insensitive, sure, but THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN. I tried listening to this pod on apple but I truly had to WATCH this episode to understand what was happening. I’m an auditory kind of person, but I really have to watch this pod to fully grasp it 😂
