Here to explain a tid bit of the story/ what happens when trico eats the boy: SO SPOILERS Here we go: The master of the valley (MAV for short). Is a being just like the god Dormin is sotc and to a lesser extent the queen in Ico. It functions using the light and dark energy of the world. However the MAV seems to be more interested in the light side to keep itself alive and give the guards their special powers. Humans in that universe are made out of light and dark energy. Light gives life and dark gives power/control over something. The mav once used humans to give itself energy and to give the humans powers however once the humans ran out it could no longer create the guards with the shadow part the MAV got by absorbing humans. So it needed another way to get energy as it seems to want to expand further and further. So the MAV got the Trico species under it's control by essentially addicting it to the light energy (what is found in the barrels). This way it could instruct the Trico's to get humans and give the MAV power and they get a small reward for it. To keep the humans alive the Trico use some of the light side energy to put the humans in a bubble after using their dark energy to hypnotize them. The light energy will keep them alive almost like time froze for them. The MAV must have altered this because they also get the tattoo's already when inside a Trico to be easily converted into a light and dark part. The boy however got lucky with the lighting and Trico ended up puking him out because that's what it's supposed to do. I was instructed not to eat the humans so the next natural reflex is to puke them out. Then the game starts and the story happens.

Of course this can be completely wrong but it's a theme they are sticking by throughout the three games. I also did quite a bit of research on both Ico and sotc in the past and a bit on The last guardian and I personally think that is what was happening. 1 thing I did forget to mention is that the MAV is most likely the logical part of the being sealed away in the room where you found the mirror first and is acting like an AI. This is why it's working like it does.

TRICO! MY CHILD! DURKDURR! ;v; And yes I LOVE this game so much! They spent over 6/7 years making the game, it was going to be on ps3 but they moved it onto ps4 and my gosh it's amazing! I think they spent more time on the design and graphics of the game itself more than the story and the physics but it's still an incredible game in my opinion! And Trico was under control of this tower or something and they brought humans from villages or towns to put into this little thing but I don't know why, they get rewarded barrels for doing it but I don't know why they need to bring humans, maybe they are turned into guards? Or maybe they were used for something else but most of the game makes me want to find out more! It's just so intriguing!

I remember watching this video a long time ago. It was years ago when I was a kid, and I really enjoyed watching Jacksepticeye’s let’s play about The Last Guardian, Trico being one of my favorites. Of course, after watching this, I absolutely loved it. This video also introduced me to animation memes and the animation meme community as a whole. Goodness I can't commend you enough for this animation! Using that high pitched bleep for something that's incredibly uncomfortable to look at, makes it just that more ''Taboo-like'' I love this! It helps highlight how Trico is still a dangerous creature even after the player has befriended them.
