My father was in the 101st Airborne, 501st parachute infantry. He was in D-day, operation market garden, Battle of the Bulge. Made it back home, 2 purple 💜, bronze star two clusters. Great man and Patriot. He was from Sanger , Texas. 1921, passed to young in1966.

In an effort to not offend any oversensitive viewer, War Stories has become useless as a provider of unfiltered documentaries.You cannot understand the horrors of war unless you see the horrors of war. War Stories does a disservice to the younger generations by blurring out these documentaries.

I think in the intervening years its become more common knowledge that the Canadians were the ones that did the majority of the work in Italy, and man, what courageous work it was. The Germans feared them like no other, and for damn good reason. The Canadians weren't messing around.
