About There is No Escape, there's a true ending and a bad ending. The one you showcased was the bad ending, However. If you do not pick up the gun, he'll start to remember who he really is. His real name is Jimmy. He's a person in a mental facility that is imagining this all in his head. Jane never existed, however the person that is Jane is actually called Emily. Emily is an Employee in the mental facility. idk if this is a good explanation or not

There is no escape is a boring, uninteresting generic "psychological horror" game. I've seen this "this person never existed and blah blah" plot 1 limbillion times before the game sucks and is an honest waste of time imo.

Happy School isn’t a good game. It’s very poorly written and every character has awful grammar, it relies purely on shock value that comes out of nowhere, and the creator obviously just saw that some horror games were using the classic style and took it for their game. This is a poor excuse for a bait and switch horror game.

20:51, I don't think the main character negates everything his father told him. Although he doesn't believe in karma, (as he killed the monk) He thinks that killing everyone will start his life anew, And being good this time around after the village burning. In the second to last cave visit, there are black roses (black roses represent rebirth in some sources), And decides that he will start his life anew by burning everything in his old life. (Hence why the body that has lingered in his cave has disappeared.) And now he's going to spend his "new" life being Good this time around.
