I hear "Edinburgh" twice, and I'm like "No one who doesn't live in the UK can pronounce it!" I've lived in that very city for 25 years, and let me just say, it's a tricky one. My sister lived in Glasgow for a year so I luckily got a crash course on how to pronounce Edinburgh (and Glasgow) from her. Maria's first language isn't English so she 100% has a pass on mispronouncing place names. I'm sure we'd all say most of the names of places in Russia wrong too. Also if you want to talk about "no one who who doesn't live here can pronounce it", may I introduce you to the cities, towns, and rivers of Washington state, USA. Even the stuff that looks like it would be easy to pronounce gets butchered.

22:13 (with closed-captions on) "One of the first places we're going to visit, *_EVIL_* Tower." 😂 Sorry, Maria, but I'm going to have to side with KZbin's automatic captions here. It really does sound like you're saying "EVIL" tower, which actually makes me want to visit it even more. 😂 Intriguing!! Love the soft-spoken tourism show & tell here. Very relaxing.
