I laughed out loud when you said you have never experienced -25 C before *cries in Ontario*. Totally relate about the travel anxiety, I find myself not wanting to plan any international trips, perhaps because I worry I will have to cancel them or go during a time of heightened covid cases. Can't quite pinpoint it but it's comforting to know I'm not the only one!

I feel the same when it comes to travel! I used to love it and know I get anxious to think what if the rules change again and all the trip changes, etc..But at the same time it's the new reality so I don't think we should leave it by without experiencing our life because of fears and anxieties. :)

i found your channel the other day and have stuck around bc i think we are so similar in a lot of ways & your talk of travel anxieties/heightened anxiety in general really resonated with me. i think it is one of the many lasting effects of this pandemic for sure but i can already tell that you're being safe and considerate and so i hope you are able to enjoy your trip! also sending you virtual warmth as a minnesotan who is unwillingly used to the type of cold weather you are traveling to 💌

Sarah I understand where you are coming from with the anxiety of travel, I've been experiencing it more and more just like you over the past couple of years. Already that before I had a fear of flying but I would continuously push myself out of my comfort zone, but now that we've been in quarantine for so long I had no ways of doing that. However, I know that every-time I travel, I never want to leave, I have the best time and I feel the best and invigorated !!! Here's to us acknowledging and getting through our anxieties :)
