this is my hometown and i haven't been home for years so thank you for taking me home 😭 a few misinformation: 4:50 the symbol reads top down then right to left, meaning the world belongs to people. 8:20 thestatueu is not chairman mao, it's Huang Xing, a revolutionary leader born in changsha, and the street in front of and behind statue is named after him.

You should read it from top to bottom then right to left, it should be 天 下 为 公 means "The World is for Everyone" @8:19 that statue is not Chairman Mao. He is Huang Xing who was a Chinese revolutionary leader and politician, and the first commander-in-chief of the Republic of China. As one of the founders of the Kuomintang and the Republic of China, his position was second only to Sun Yat-sen.

I have been to 40 cities in China and Changsha is the place my camera got stolen from pockets and I lost a lot of my photos. I also lost my drive to travel further... Its a nice city. But be careful with pick pocketing.
