Use her pram to feed her in instead of the baby chairs at the foodcourt while your traveling! That stroller is going to be handy at the airports. And make sure you plan your toilet trips! How do you go to the bathroom in a airplane with a toddler? I haven't travelled with kids and I refuse to so don't ask me 😂 I'm just curious as I've never done it. This is going to give you so many new experiences. Going to the shops with kids is bad enough, I'd hate to think about airplanes.

Thanks! I was just saying to my mom the other day that I didn't need to bring my travel high chair since I have the stroller. The hotel will hopefully have one for us but if not I have the stroller. To be honest, I have only used an airplane bathroom once lol. And that was just because I wanted to see what it's like. My body seems to just shut all that down haha. I'm guessing it will be the same as when I've babysat at my old house and didn't really have a good place to put them. I went with them on my lap. I've heard in pre-covid times of flight attendants offering to watch them but I don't know if that would work now or not. Plus we are working on attachment so I would like to be the only one holding her if possible.

@@TheChoiceofMotherhood Its hard, when she starts walking she will just follow you in. When the boy was on oxygen it was really hard. I used to quickly run to the bathroom at home. He was imobile at the time and attached to feeding tubes and oxygen. He would be in a playpen or the cot. Will be easier with her as she isn't attached to anything. At home you will be fine, its going out that is difficult.

With malls and stuff I never had an issue because I was either wearing them or I had the stroller. I guess on the plane I can just wear her but that seems like more work than just holding her lol. Ya, she doesn't have equipment or anything that I need to worry about and she's still fairly small so it probably won't be too challenging.

Finding My Star I often keep having to remind myself that I’m not the average parent! I often forget that most parents don’t have to deal with other attachments. So I don’t know how normal parents use the bathroom or cook dinner because I usually have other things to worry about. Like tonight it took me half an hour to get the boy to let me cook dinner 😂 he had the wiggles and still wanted all my attention. He isn’t attached to anything right now, except me lol

Meaning he was attached to stuff when he was Emery’s age. He got rid of that stuff 2 years ago.

Does having the attendant mean you don’t need another family member with you? if you can please could you explain a little bit about it :)

The attendant is the translator and the person who works for the non government organization. They arrange everything with the orphanage she help you while in country. I would have an attendant even if I had someone travelling with me.
