I know what you’re thinking… you went back again so soon. 😱
The August trip took me a while to edit so you basically have back to back vlogs 😃
We loved Florida in December so much last year we just had to do it again. This is only a short budget trip but it’s not about how much you pay and how long you stay.
We saw and did everything we wanted and had a wonderful Christmas time 🎄
Join us as we prepare to fly across the ocean and checking in to our new home for the next 7 nights.

Just found your channel! I live in Tampa flying to Gatwick in July. That’s crazy you park your car and leave the key there for them? In tampa we have garage parking where you buy your pass for specific dates then scan a QR code at the gate and park your car and go. Lol😊

Gatwick and Heathrow have so many car parks it just depends how much you’re willing to pay. We always used to choose the keep the keys option but it’s rarer now. Some car parks your car stays on site and they park it for you (that’s the one we use) but some can drive your car off site. Don’t like the sound of that. Have fun coming over here? Va and Florida american here. If the portions are too much fyi maybe get the leftovers to go. Its expected most places in the us. Id try to get a hotel rm with a small fridge and microwave to save cash. Plenty of decent grocery stores around tampa and st Pete i go to publix for higher end and aldis for bargains

Great to see you are back. I went out with the family in August 2022 and would love to go out again, but too £$$£ cost. My trip in august was over £20K (3weeks Car/Villa/Flights/Tickets/Food). Have fun guys.

Why did you fly into TPA when MCO is closer and has that brand-new terminal?

Because TPA was and has been around £1k cheaper than MCO for the 4 of us. I think I’m yet to hear a good thing about the new terminal. Tampa is a great airport. X

Chili's has the best tortilla chips around. We'll just pick some up to go and bring them home. The rest of the food there is barely ok. Good prices though.

what are the shuttles like to/from the hotel to/from the parks?? don’t most of the parks shut around 9-11pm? yet the last shuttles back are stated at approx 9pm on the Avanti website? surely missing out on a lot of the shows etc at the 11pm closing parks

From memory when we did use the shuttles there was only one evening shuttle back but we never used it. The park closing time varies. December it was 6/7pm so assuming the shuttle times may vary through the year too. Universal don’t really have a late every night show like the Disney parks. They have a light show on select nights in Universal and over in Islands it’s the Harry Potter castle projection but that runs every 15 mins or so when it gets dark. Another option to the hotel shuttle is catch the Endless Summer hotel shuttle and walk the 10mins back to the hotel, Uber or walk. X
