This looked like such an amazing travel day. The sliding seats are such a good idea. I never put my seat back because I dont want to upset the person behind me so this would be perfect. We loved seeing how excited you both were to get there and we cant wait for the rest of your vlogs xx

Thank you! The sliding seats were such a game changer-perfect for being considerate and still getting comfy. We were so excited to finally get to Japan, and I’m so glad that came across. Can’t wait to share the rest of the trip with you! xx

I'm almost crying happy tears for you two, watching this and knowing how excited you were for this trip. From your seats on the airplane, to the hotel, to the area you were in, I'm so impressed and I really hope we can go to Japan, someday. 😊 So excited to see the rest of the trip. Great job with the editing, Ant!!! Looks awesome! (I loved the reference to the apple at the lounge!! LOL!!!)

Wonderful video and I'm so glad that your trip was off to a good start. And I enjoyed the flight review! Having watched a lot of flight reviews over the years, this was one of the best. Very much agree with your review of JAL premium economy. Thank you for sharing your experiences and well done with the Japanese greetings!

Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed the flight review-that means a lot, especially coming from someone who’s watched so many! JAL’s premium economy really impressed us. Thanks for the encouragement on the Japanese, too! x

Great video which is bringing back good memories from our trip a couple of months ago in September. We flew from Manchester with Etihad to Narita, took the Shinkansen to Osaka for a week visiting Kyoto, Nara and a couple of other places. Then back to Tokyo for 16 nights, visiting many places including Disneyland/Sea. This was our second trip and hopefully not the last. We too are big Disney fans and been going to WDW since 1995 two to three times a year. Next trip in February then again in September. Been watching some of your past vlogs and really enjoying them especially your homey ones. You come across such a lovely couple and so easy to watch. Noticed that your Mum lives in Ramsbottom, not far from me in Norden. So looking forward to your Japan vlogs and seeing you visit the places we went to as well. Thanks for sharing, take care 🤗🤗

Thanks so much! It’s awesome to hear about your trip, especially since we went to so many of the same places. We love hearing from fellow Disney fans, and WDW multiple times a year sounds amazing! Hope our vlogs keep bringing back great memories for you! xxx

Wonderful flight to an amazing country we are visiting next year , we have also decided Japan airlines and premium economy. For a long journey like this it’s well worth paying the extra . Honestly once my wife sees this shops and machines she will be in heaven lol and ps so will o as we’re all kids lol brilliant video and so helpful . One question if it’s ok to ask ? How much was the taxi from airport to hotel as we both said after a long flight there is no way we’re going to navigate a bus or train system lol cheers

Thank you so much! We’re glad you found the video helpful, and you’re going to love JAL premium economy-such a good choice for a long journey! We felt the same about not wanting to navigate public transit after the flight, so our travel agent booked a shared transfer with a company called Green Tomato as part of our package, so we don’t know the exact cost. Someone was waiting for us at arrivals and took us straight to the transfer, which made things super easy. Hope you and your wife have an amazing time in Japan! xx

Yeah, it was really comfortable especially with the sliding seats, footrest and adjustable headrest. 👍

Yeah just learn the greetings and thank you and just have really respectful body language and that's all you need. The Japanese won't hold it against you, they actually just want to be helpful and for you to enjoy their country. They get tons and tons of tourists all over the country so they are used to it. Same thing all over Asia really, there are tourists everywhere so locals know at least a bit of English. It's the most visited region on earth.
@TangledUpInFun2 ай бұрын
Thanks! That was exactly our experience-everyone we met in Japan was so kind and helpful. Learning a few greetings went a long way, and it made the trip even more special. It’s amazing how welcoming people are-can’t wait to explore more of the region someday! x
