Travel Door County, Wisconsin [4K UHD]-Things to do | Peninsula State Park | Fish Creek | Sister Bay

🏞 In this episode we explore spectacular Door County, Wisconsin in October of 2024. We visit quaint little towns, try out some of the local foods and treats, and soak in the miles and miles of beautiful Lake Michigan and Green Bay shoreline. We might even get a glimpse of the Northern Lights! As the place where Jeff was born and still has family, this place is very special to us and we have visited many times. Come along to find out why we love it so much.
⛺ We stayed at South Nicolet Bay Campground in Peninsula State Park. Our site had 50amp electricity. There were no water or sewer hook-ups at the site, but there is a very nice 4-stall dump station with potable water fill stations located in the park and included with the camping fee. From this heavily wooded campground, you can access both - hiking trails to Eagle Observation Tower and Eagle Panorama Overlook, and the Sunset Bike Route that travels past Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and all the way to the town of Fish Creek. The campground is located adjacent to and within a short walk of Nicolet Beach on Green Bay.
