Hello there, I booked the opposite way (Chur to Tirano) in first class coach (non panoramic ). Is the first class coach located only at the front end of the train? Thanks

Hi, thanks for the video. I believe this train leaves around 8am from Tirano. Did you guys spend a night in Tirano?

Hi , this is a great video. Really many insightful information I got. I have some questions, could you please clarify? 1. I'm going in next month , 2024 March ; so should I expect to get snow and beautiful views? 2. Can I go from Tirano to St. Mortiz in yhe morning train and then comeback to tirano in the afternoon train on the same day ?
@ourtravelsa11 ай бұрын
1. Yes, in March you should see snow ❄️. 2. It is possible if you catch the early morning train. But not on all days. Check the latest timetable on their website.

Hi both, really loved watching this video. I am currently planning a rail tour acorss the swiss and italian alps with my mom for a total of 3 nights. Do you have someplace where I can look up the iteneary you followed? How long you stayed in each destination etc? Thanks in advance!

Hello, thanks so much for the feedback. Our blog is still a WIP, so here is a summary of what we did. Day 1 - Took the last train from Milan in the evening to Tirano which leaves at 7:20pm (please recheck this) from Milano Centrale. We stayed overnight in Tirano near the train station. Day 2 - Took the Bernina express from Tirano to St. Moritz. You could possibly go all the way to Chur. We stayed near St. Moritz overnight. Day 3 - We took the Glacier express (the next video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYDZkpSpj9Gkgrc. This took us to Zermatt. Glacier express can be taken from Chur too. Considering your trip is only 3 nights, you might want to get off at Visp and instead take the intercity to Zurich for your return to Italy. It is possible on Day 1 to take the earliest train from Milan to Tirano and connect with the Bernina express if you prefer that but it is quite tight. So sorry that our website isnt ready yet. Do feel free to ask if you have more questions.

on which date in April this video was taken? beautiful journey Also which side of the train is best to book journey from tirano to chur If you can provide seat numbers it will be great
@ourtravelsa Жыл бұрын
Thanks, It was on the 23rd of April. We would recommend sitting on the left side going from Tirano to St. Moritz. Seat number, cant remember, but it is no as important. As we mentioned in the video, the direction of each coach is unknown until the day. If you are ok with it, best to choose a seat on opposite sides, then you swap as required.

Which side we must book to get the best scenic route from tirano to st. Moritz? Which hotel or Airbnb you booked at celerina? Did you visit also st. Moritz lake?
@ourtravelsa2 жыл бұрын
Actually, you cant predict which side you will get. As we explained towards the end of the video, the driving direction is not known until the day of travel. So, if you are traveling as family, maybe you can book on either side to increase your chances.

Great footage guys. Would you say the panoramic windows are a must for this trip? I'm wondering if I might use the normal (earlier) train.
