I love this!! It looks so nice yet thoughtful and heartfelt! Very nicely done. I love how you wrote about the keepsakes you glued in, so there's some of the physical memories and some of the emotional memories, all neatly put together. Thirty years from now you and your family will love looking through this book.

I must admit I do the same and have been doing so since 1992. I keep a diary,, although nowadays it a mobile phone, and type up what I have been doing today. I then condense it and add to it when I get home. I have been doing it for so long now. I use it worldwide and enjoyed it on my trip to Mexico this year.

What a lovely journal and beautiful handwriting. I loved the simplicity of it and how you just used what ever tickets and brochures that were around you and filled it with your beautiful writing. It’s the most inspiring journal I’ve seen. My favorite is the making of Harry Potter (14:33 ). Thank you for sharing😀

I really want to go on another trip out of country soon. We went to Dominica in the west indies last year. I think our next big trip is going to be Antigua Barbuda, I will have to journal it and maybe vlog some of it. Hope to go maybe in the next few years.

What an amazing adventure! Have you written about your travels in magazine articles or a book? I'd like to hear about the logistics of the whole 6 months: how you decided where to go and stay, budgeting, how you supported yourself for this period, what you packed, things you'd do differently and so on.

Hi! I almost never comment or watch the videos in full, but yours is amazing and I didn't fast forward it: I watched from beginning to end as it is so inspiring! It is even better than a photo album, in my opinion, because it has your impressions, opinions and feelings! When I get old, I would love to look at all my travel journals... I can even imagine myself in the unlucky situation of being in hospital and maybe alone, but flipping through the pages of a travel journal with happiness :)

I loved the map insert you made, tracing out the path you walked around Glasgow; I'm inspired to do something similar in my own journal. Also, your book and movie trackers were a cute way to document not just your adventures traveling but also your down time, love how holistic it made the journal. Great video, hope to see more journal themed content if possible

I'm currently studying abroad in Praha and found this randomly on my front page of suggestions -- and what a helpful & awesome video. I left my art journal on my boyfriend's desk the day I left, which I think may've been an opportunity in disguise. I've been journaling in writing more than ever the last few days, but I've been using a paper tablet as I ruminate on the best way to tackle not having my journal. I love your style! This would make such a great blog post -- just to have your tips and techniques in writing.

Howdy! Thank you so much for posting this video! Truly loved it and am so excited to start traveling now! I wanted to ask, I am hoping to start my own travel journal but am at a loss for what to write in it since I have kept a diary forever and everything usually lives in there.
