Honestly that pikachu is probably worth way more now just because of the story. And as for the TV license, you only need to pay it if you watch live TV - I have a TV that I use as a third monitor (for discord babyyyyy), and I don't pay for my loicense because its not plugged into an aerial. The funds go to the BBC directly so its funds all their services btw.

I think the one thing I'd take to the medieval period would be a car. Because think about it, right? They wouldn't really 'get' an ipad and it'd run out of charge really quickly, and without wifi you wouldn't be able to do much. And a gun is just a really weird bow so that doesn't really mean a lot to them, either. You drive up and you're fully encased in this super weird horseless chariot that is just moving on its own and it's producing light from the front.... THAT is some fucking magic! They see it. They get it. They have questions and then you just answer them by hiding the keys and being like "Oh yeah, I am a wizard and this thing only works for me!" Maybe one guy hops in to try it out but there's no keys, so he can't turn the thing on. And because they don't know that's a thing, you'd HAVE to be powerful to them, right? Because how else would this work? From there you can just be like "Oh yeah, I'm here to grant the king good fortune and stuff!" and then you wait around and hope something good happens so you can be like "Yup, that was me. I did it, just look how magical my special self-moving chariot is, how can you doubt that? Of course I'm responsible for the good harvest this season, too!" Play it right and you're going to be living well for a pretty long time.

He might have SOME idea, don’t get me wrong, but, as you may or may not know, there are levels of pilots licenses, and once you get to the top level, there’s another layer. The BIG planes are distinct enough from one another, with their controls and the way they behave in the air, that you aren’t allowed to fly all of them out of the gate. Instead, a lot of individual aircraft have “type ratings,” which you have to get to qualify to fly that specific aircraft. If you want to fly a different big jet, you’ll have to acquire a a separate type rating. Now, a pilot at that level would probably be able to land the aircraft in an emergency, planes aren’t that CRAZY different, but…… yeah. 😅 29:36 I live in Indiana, but I was a long haul trucker for 2 years, and I hauled into California twice. First time into Los Angeles, and second time into the farmlands in the lower mid of the state, and all I can say is, just chop off the lower third of California. Seriously, because of Los Angeles there is almost zero chance I am ever going back there, and the only reason that it’s an almost zero chance, is because of the absolutely gorgeous farmland from Bakersfield on north.

Finland used to have similar tv-lisence to Britain, but they changed so that it beca.e a tax so everyone had to pay it after that. Thetax ammount is lowerr tho since everyone has to pay it now wether you have a tv or not.

So all the buttons on a plane have, at least some thing to do like for example, a knob could do how fast the plane could be going on auto pilot and a screen with a bunch of buttons on it could be where you can set your waypoint and where your map could be but other switches like the fire extinguisher, for the engines, would not need to be pressed, unless in dire circumstances, so it really just depends on the role on what the button does if it’s important to takeoff or landing, they’ll press it, if they’re going to takeoff land but if they’re not cruising they’re all just going to turn on auto pilot and just sit back and relax cus most of the modern planes are automated to wear. You can essentially do nothing, and it could just fly by itself.

Seriously, if you want to traumatise yourself you can look into the unbelievable amount of police 'corruption' in not cracking down on child (unwanted adult fun time) gangs. Mostly because the vast majority of these gangs are of a middle eastern variety in ethnicity and religion (by the police's own admission by the way, I'm not just some ranting boomer putting two mismatching jigsaw pieces together). Some of the things these people do though is absolutely vile, and I genuinely do not recommend looking into it for more than an hour at a time. You will want to go vigilante mode very quickly.
