I will say, if I could possibly afford a pool, I would also shell out around £1000 for something to clean it. I mean, it's about as practical for me to fantasize about how I would maintain a dragon, but I imagine scrubbing a pool is an annoying chore.

So... how exactly does that painting robot handle ceilings, windows, trim, sockets, etc. I just painted my whole condo, and covering large surfaces is no problem at all - it's putting up all the masking tape that's the real work. That said, I WANT that wallpapering gadget. Some gadgets are clearly better than others.
@adafrost62764 жыл бұрын
The painting robot was designed for car manufacturing where you just spray every inch of the car frame. This was just an interesting proof of concept of using it for painting home interiors but it's not designed for that.

My biggest question would be how you smoothly apply it from high above your head to the bottom of the floor in one motion. To be fair, I have never applied wallpaper the usual way, and how that works is also a mystery, hah. But if you are on a ladder, and need to remain facing the wall vertically the entire time down... It sounds precarious. My best guess - you stand on a platform that is set up about a foot away from the wall. You do the top part yourself, and then hand the tool to a friend standing on the floor below you.

"Wallpapering by hand in near madness" i wonder what the second wallpaper would have looked like applied with this "machine"
@ILuvAyeAye4 жыл бұрын
I think that could be figured out - perhaps a little arrow on the left side of the machine that you line up with the end of the paper you have already put down. Spirit guides integrated into the machine could help ensure each piece is applied vertically. The part that confuses me is how you start a strip of wallpaper near the ceiling above your head, and make it go straight all the way down. My best guess involves a platform you stand on, and a friend who takes the gadget from you to continue the bottom part.
