Mine was a k1 visa not cr1 But you still have to pay your visa fee after being DQed and The embassy will send you your interview later

Yeah,you will receive the police character certificate via email,you just have to print it out and my medicals cost about 130k

The whole essence of a k-1 is for both parties to get married legally and having a traditional marriage done does not stop anything..
