So, it's impossible for an American-by-birth to remain in the Philippines for longer than 59 days? If so, can such a person stay for 59 days, enter another country, immediately return to the Philippines, and re-start the clock running for another 59 days (i.e., do a border run)? There are NO Americans (other than diplomats) living long-term in the Philippines?

I’am US passport travel in the phils.twice a year staying for 2 to 3mos. I don’t have any problem at all i know if you staying over 12 mos. You have to pay tax $2 per day which is $60 a month no big deal

Our travel starts from US on Jan 11, ‘25 will arrived Jan 12Philippines and will stay in Manila for 1 night. Then the following day will go to Singapore and come back to Philippines after 4 days. Do I need to do e travel going to Philippines then another e travel from Singapore to Philippines?
