Yes, please find out the brands of ink for his fountain pens. I'm having a lot of trouble with clogs and drying up in my Safari pens and wonder if he is using Artemis ink or carbon ink. It has to be waterproof and that's the issue.

with the Travelers Notebook, how do you keep the page flat while sketching?

Any mini binder clip should do. Traveler's Company has some lovely brass clips available on their website!
