AITUTAKI has the worlds most beautiful lagoon, it’s true Apart from the day trip there is nothing else to do but sit back, relax and work on your tan Aitutaki is defiantly worth the day trip from Rarotonga We stayed in Aitutaki for 3 nights and paid 120 per night on the beach front
@emilyrutledge5105
@emilyrutledge5105 5 жыл бұрын
may I ask what the place you stayed at was called? I'm dying to go to Aitutaki but struggling to find good, but preferably on the cheaper side, accommodation on the beach front
@TheLanesOfficial
@TheLanesOfficial 5 жыл бұрын
@@emilyrutledge5105 We stayed at Ranginui Retreat which was on the water front and i think we were the only couple there, as you could see in the video it is very small. Aitutaki Day trip is unbelievable the water on the lagoon where we jumped in was just amazing but apart from that we preferred staying in Rarotonga as the lagoon in front of the muni beach club and also the rarotongan was just as good. enjoy your trip.

Can you share areas where non-swimmers can snorkel and still see diverse marine life (corals and tropical fishes)? Preferably, near resorts/huts. My searches on KZbin so far do not yield results that will pinpoint locations that are ideal for non-swimming snorkelers. Is aquatic life of Aitutaki as diverse as French Polynesia (Bora Bora, Taha'a, Tikehau)?
@nomadasaurus
@nomadasaurus 4 жыл бұрын
So sorry Pintu, we are not too sure. Maybe contact the tourism board there. cookislands.travel/au. They may be able to help. We haven't been to Bora Bora, Taaha'a, Tikehau so we can not compare. It was amazing snorkelling at the Cook Islands. Here is our article on Rarotonga with the best swimming and snorkelling areas. www.nomadasaurus.com/things-to-do-in-rarotonga-cook-islands/

Rain clouds usually hang around Rarotonga's mountain peaks, even during the dry season (June to Aug). The shoulder months of April, May, September, and October usually provide the best combination of sunshine and warmth. Have a great trip
