Jazve is the turkish word for coffee pot. The correct word is “srjep” which comes from “soorj yep,” translates to coffee boiler literally. So sad that Armenians disown their beautiful phonetic unique yet having European related language for their cenk murderers. Not even a second thought about using it to name a restaurant.

Hi! I for myself wasn’t brought up in Armenia, so I am not 100% fluent in Armenian. I didn’t know that. Thanks for letting us know. And I agree with you. We, as Armenians should use our rich language correctly. I will try my best to be more aware of that. Thank you.
