I really recommend Clare. I'm from Limerick but I went to Clare for a day a few weeks ago. I was at the Cliffs of Moher and the beach in Lahinch and honestly the village of Lahinch is so nice and the Cliffs of Moher are just so beautiful you can see straight over to the Aran Islands and there is even little Irish Heritage gift shops which I think you would adore. I was in Connemara a few years ago and it was absolutely beautiful. It was always so sunny which was great and the little shops around our hotel were amazing aswell. Overall I hope you enjoyed your trip. ❤️❤️

It’s not clear whether you were talking about driving through Connemara or Roscommon?? The mountains you were filming are in Connemara as far as I can tell especially if you were going to Clifden
