Hey! I am glad you were able to visit downtown Charleston. I grew up in the area near Burke High School. I am going back to visit my family during the holidays. In my years growing up in Charleston, I have not traveled to Sullivan's Island. I will go there with my sister and eat at the restaurant in the video.

Love it! Charleston, SC is always been on the top 5 of the most visited places in the US. It is rich in history from slave trade, the old custom house, beginning of the American civil war (Fort Sumter), and the preservation of historical houses in the area. Note: One can't even change/restore anything outside your house without asking permission from the city government and there's a Mcdonald sign that is inside Mcd's itself by the battery (not sure, if it's still inside the shop as of this time).

It’s not the city government…it’s the Board of Architectural review. If you choose to buy a house in the historic district, you know this before you buy.
