I live closer to the mountains here in So Cal and I've actually never seen a mountain lion. My grandmother however occasionally sees one in the field behind her house maybe once a year.

Such beautiful scenery, Greta! As always, thank you for taking us along for the adventure. I am very happy you did not come across any mountain lions. If you had it definitely could have been like the ordeal a hiker in Utah went through last month. The video went viral and was super intense. Your meal looked delicious. I love calamari! Fun fact: When I was 2 the tentacles freaked me out and for some reason I could not pronounce that word and would call them testicles. 😂 It is funny to look back on these days as a now 30-year-old. Oh, those donuts looked bomb! 🍩 I do not have any donuts around, but I made gluten-free and dairy-free blueberry and cranberry muffins. Not quite a donut, but it will do. 😉 I almost always leave your vlogs hungry. Ha

I am not originally from L.A. (actually grew up in the part of New York State that is pretty close to Toronto), but I have lived in the L.A.-area for eight years now and I have never seen a mountain lion. We have seen several coyotes, though, which are deceivingly cute. Also, for vegan donuts, you should try Leberry bakery in Pasadena! Their apple fritters are incredible!
