Travel tip with Southwest, always get the early-bird option, allows you to check in up to 36 hours ahead of others. If you check in at that 36 hour mark you are likely to get early number position in the A group (one of the first to board) and better pick of seats :) has made my life easier countless times flying with Southwest.

I wondered when you were checking in and surprised about the 2 free checked bags... I always fly southwest and that's one of the reasons. if you check in at the 24hr spot, On the dot!! you can get an earlier boarding spot and you will have your choice of seats. usually, if I end up in the C group, I can still find a window seat at the back of the plane. too bad your videos are a ways behind so I couldn't give you any tips beforehand

Have you thought about getting Oats Over Night? I ordered some & loved them. Has 20+ grams of protein & has protein powder in it & they're in individual packets. Oh, wow, for about 6 months I flew into Ontario, California from Indianapolis for work. Made that flight from Midway to Ontario a LOT (flew back and forth every weekend).

Ok, even more interesting, I stayed in a hotel on the other side of the Ontario Mills Mall while I was working out there. Hope you get to explore a bit out there. It is a really neat area. If you get a chance, get up to Victoria Gardens outdoor mall. Also, find Mt. Baldy road and go north up into the mountains for some of the best views in the area.

When you fly into Manchester to visit Callum you pass within a couple of miles of my house. But flying into Ontario you should be on the other side of the World to me. However, at exactly the same time as you picked up the hire car at Ontario I was dropping one off, only 45 miles away at LAX! Weird!

I would say Welcome to California my home state (native Californian here) but I am in Georgia right now. Hopefully next year I will be able to move back home. I am sure you will enjoy the Greater Los Angeles area. You will have to get out to the beaches on the weekends. I am a Norcal girly, so growing up in Northern California the old timers used to always tell us kids that "The DEVIL😈 is from Southern California" 🤣🤣🤣 The weather should be awesome there although from the airport you flew into they have you out in the desert, so could be kind of hot, but you have a pool for the evenings and weekends, and also will be spending your days on the ice a lot.
