Oh no...this makes me so sad. I live in Rome and I can say with certainty that all the places you went to eat are so touristy and not authentic, you could've gotten so much better quality food elsewhere! And €10 for two coffees and a croissant is an insane ripoff!! A cappuccino and a latte should cost €1.50 MAX, each, and a cornetto should be €1. Also, don't ever take an Uber in Italy - they're twice as expensive as taxis because they're illegal in Italy. Taxis are easy to get at any taxi stop and also if you use the app "Free Now". Just hope all this advice helps for your next trip (or anyone else's) to Italy! Also, nobody ever says Rome is do-able in a day lol.

Katherine Dasalla use Rick steves audio tours they are really interesting and informative. Get into all the different historic neighbourhoods of Rome, not just these flashy tourist spots. The best thing to do in Rome is to start walking. Every time you hit an intersection choose a path at random. Get lost in Rome and you’ll find the most beautiful hidden stuff

Rome is truly captivating.😍 Everywhere you look is bursting with history and beauty. We visited the city during Spring as part of our DIY EUROTRIP vlog. The entire city is rich with art, sculpture and architecture. 🤩🤩🤩 Its like walking inside a huge museum. ❤️❤️❤️

You can do Rome in a day, you just have to do it in the right order. You guys were skipping around all over town. You have to start Vatican and end at piazza Venezia But to properly experience Rome takes a lot longer

It’s so true - you really can’t go to any stores near a tourist attraction because they’ll rip you off and it won’t be good. Also this just made me kind of sad, because it felt more like you doing a press tour to get Instagram photos in tourist spots than actually visiting the city.

I would say after about 6 hours of walking, yes, my feet were sore. But, they were a better option than any sneaker, I feel gross when my feet are in socks for that long
