You should definitely go. Mcacn website is great listing all the host hotels, they are all good hotels super close and they all have parking (you do have to pay for it).

Why it’s so nice to just fly in, take the shuttle and no car to deal with. Between the tolls, horrible roads and traffic driving through Chicago is a chore.

Thanks for the video. I brought the Pontiac 2+2 in the barn find section. The unloading process was surprisingly efficient. I was in and out in about half an hour, even though i brought a non running car.

Thank you so so much Tom. I enjoyed seeing them all. Mopar is is the best obviously but I appreciate them all. I too am a secret pontiac guy. We used to own a 81 t-top trans am and multiple grand ams and grand prix. Me and my brothers actually were just talking last night about trying to get another trans am if one presents itself before a 68-70 chargers does. (We used to own a white 69)

@rocketresto my brother has a 70 chevelle Malibu 2 door but the lines just don't talk to me. I kind of like 66 chevelles because they're the only chevelle with a buttress on the back window. But I do like gto's...lemans...some firebird's and trans am's. Old stuff of course...mid seventies and older. But mopars i love em all

Tom; You said if you couldn’t have a MOPAR you’d get a GTO. I’ve told you about my brothers 68 Roadrunner but his 1st muscle car purchase in the early 90’s was a 69 GTO. It’s got a little over 65k on the speedo and is a wonderful car to take a Sunday drive in. He takes it out a few times a year and back-forth to work. (Which he owns). Great car!

Doesn’t have to be in the last year. mopars5150 is taking almost half the barn finds section this year. They had a 20 car waiting list if somebody canceled this year 🤯

I find it funny when a “ barn find “ car is discovered and purchased the new owners feel they have to leave the dirt , bird shit and crud on them because they are afraid the value will drop if they dare wash and clean them up . lol

I walked the show took a ton of pictures kept an eye out for Tom or anyone else I knew and didn’t see them but this place makes the consumer electronic shows in the 1980s look lightly attended. Holy crap. Swap meet was heavy Chevy. Mancini was there and I talked to them about some of the parts I’m looking for, so that was great. It’s great the time to get us some clear pictures of these cars. The all black Mopar roll was amazing. But trying to get a clear picture without 20 people walking between you in the car or farming a clot and staying there for 5 to 10 minutes it’s rather difficult .

This is gonna get some people riled but a great car is a great car. Survivor, clone, restored or restomod. Rods, customs, lowriders and total fabrications, all of them. As long as it is driven and enjoyed. Get over the criticism. I get that each of us has our own preferences. That's what is the best thing about cars, just like people: the differences and the variety.

If you look at the website they list all the host hotels, doubletree, Hilton, or Hyatt are all good and close. Staying at the Hyatt this year and they have a sky bridge that goes all the way to the show so you don’t even have to go outside.
