You write well for a left hander as I am one also with a similar writing style. My brass pen is a great companion to my notebook and they both have travelled well.

Great pen and I especially like the ring at the end. Run a chain through it and the pen can be worn around the neck as was sometimes done in the past. In the early episodes of the TV series "Mad Men" we can see the Joan Holloway character wearing what appears to be a chain and pendant but i really a chain and pen. Those items were actually the property of actress Christina Hendricks who is a collector of vintage items. -- The Traveler pen looks like a solid pen that can be used for many years by a succession of owners.

I love this pen a lot. I’ve had it for many years already. And I’ll always keep it. Ditto the Kaweco Copper Lilliput and the Kaweco Steel Sport. I only wish other nib options, at least a B nib was offered for the Traveler’s pen. I have the F nib. Was that the only nib offered, I wonder? Because I never found an M anywhere I looked when I bought it nearly five years ago.

Bought one for my wife and she loves it. She added her own charm to the lanyard ring, this seems to popular with the Travelers pen people.

I've been thinking of buying one of these but the F nib puts me off. I've read about people putting Schmidt nib units in (EF, F, M or B), but I love a bit of line variation. Has anyone replaced just the #5 nib?

I also want one in a nib width other than fine. That's the only reason I haven't purchased one. I do know how to swap friction fit nibs -- does this pen take a #5 nib or a #4 nib? I also missed the Factory Green model, which I really like for the aesthetics.

Would you recommend it as a first fountain? Brass is my favourite metal ever. Seems inexpensive online, if its easy to maintain and learn on, im buying it
