I grew up in Ghana (west Africa) and move to the uk at the age of 21. There were so many things i found interestingly shocking in England. About the financial part that was definately not my experience. The fact is that whites who do menial jobs have no money as compared to blacks who do menial jobs. The problem is that u are probably doing a low paid job and so the whites u come across are at a lower level. The UK has a class system and u only relate with those of ur class. I'm a Ghanaian and used to make £3500(with overtime after tax ). Now working as a PHD quant and earning £16000 per month before tax and the whites i hang out with are of a different class. We have the upper class, the working class and the lower working class or the peasants. Do not class people here based on those u meet at ur work place. U still seem to think the way u used to when u were in Ghana. Open ur mind, get more education here, visit places, do more research and u will see the other side of the UK and meet a different class of people. If U are not working as a professional with an income of more than £50,000 per year, then u will not be able to experience the real UK. Now That's a fact.
