Such a great idea of using muslin between the layers. I also like the fact you told us about the cracking of the paper...I usually start over when that happens. Now I don't have too!!! Thank you for all your awesomeness!!!!

I have used a little glitter glue and then some matte medium over the cracks. Seems to work for me, since I don't have the micro glaze. I love that use of the muslin between the papers

Very excited to start this - my first- book with you. I collected Tyvek envelopes in anticipation of beginning this book. Since I don't have muslin, I suppose I can use Tyvek instead. Not sure which video would have a lesson on using Tyvek. My tiny dogs were ready to take on yours, lol. Thanks for your brilliant lessons!

In terms of the metal plate on the cover, you had a greenish one in your pack. It remind me of the patina that copper turns into. Did you paint that one, or use one of your cool techniques to alter it? I love it!!

Very cute. Thanks for the idea of using fabric. I'm making an 8 X 10 album and needed an idea for reinforcing the spine, and now I have it. Love this medium travelers mini album. Never thought of using fabric in place of tyvek. Having plenty of fabric scraps from quilting/doll making days I will use it for the mini albums.

I think it's awesome! The metal ends are fabulous and I have some. Sweet!!! I'm still working on the frustration journal. I've had to start over 2 times hopefully the 3 time is the charm. Hey but that's okay I can take my frustrations out in it. That's what it's for. So looking forward to this one.

Beautiful and creative, as always. I also have paper stack pads, that I have purchased over the years, for projects just like this. Great idea to use muslin or fabric. Thank you again for your tutorial and ideas. My 10yr old granddaughter is waiting for the tutorials on the small notebook we made at Made It Con. I put a small amount of glue on my fingers and rub along the crack. Then, over that I add a small bit of micro glaze. This does the trick and prevents further splitting. :)

This is a wonderful tutorial Jen thank you so much Jesse has cut out 10 templates for me of the medium and I ran out of chipboard but I have tons of fabric that a client of mine donated to me and even though it's not muslim I think I'm going to give it a try so that's what I'm going to be working on today yesterday and Sunday I was putting together the minis that Jesse cut out I have 10 oh actually one of them already sold so it's wonderful we are calling this collection the Heavenly Traveler prayers for Jesse collection I will be sure to send you photos love you very much thank you so much for everything you do it just means the world to me and Jesse ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was wondering about he corners too, until I saw how she cut the fabric. You can’t leave the fabric hanging out AND use the corners around the whole thing. So I guess it’s what attributes you want the most.
