Jen I so love your work. Keep making videos and teaching us new things. I've not coffee, tea or avacodo dyed anything yet so had no idea how valuable these scraps are. I have been running it through my mind these processes.

looks really nice with the papers that you used. I love using the floral whimsy paper. I uses it in several of the gifts that I made and gave to someone they loved it as well. Also the shades of color. It is wonderful for backing any paper or use it to add notes on.

Just love this video Jen, thank you for such a lot of lovely ideas. Would you consider showing us your completed Journal that you referenced in this video, it would give some ideas as to what to use them for etc. I used to keep a diary many years ago, is it like a diary with add on bits n bobs? Also, love the coffee stained papers, any chance of a tutorial.................. 💞

Loving these new templates & digital papers! I haven't started mine yet but hoping to soon. I love coffee & tea staining my papers. Just FYI you can dye your papers after printing the templates & digital papers if printing on a laser & it won't run.

Same with those of us who have HP inkjet printers. I discovered that my ink is water resistant quite by accident. I printed a page and ran it under my faucet and it did not run one little bit. So, I print first then coffee or tea-dye my papers. Good to know.
@christinehughes81106 жыл бұрын
@@porchswingdesignsmarilou7323 I am lucky that my inkjet doesn't run either but some do.

Your right!! Tea/coffee dyeing is time consuming however, if you go to Nik the Booksmith, she has a less time consuming process that produces just as good a result. I still don't throw scraps of the dyed paper away. I use it to make embellishments for my junk journals.

Hey there. In the Travelers Notebook world its abbreviated and just called a TN. So maybe thats easier to say going forward! it can be a mouthful. Now off to make some inserts... s

I used page 10 for my TN cover and had to trim it down in order to get it to fit into the elastic in my journal. I've printed the templates on the same printer, with the same settings. My elastic is 3/8 from the top and bottom edge. Not sure what I did wrong. Any thoughts?

I have been watching your videos for quite some time now. I have been scrapbooking for 20+ years now but I am new to the digital scene. I am kinda confused as to how all this works. I guess I start by buying one of your templates and then buy your digital paper, which I love. However not sure I am into buying the ink it would take to print all this out. Is there a way to purchase your templates and maybe go to Staples or another print shop and have everything printed out? Is that something you would suggest? I need some advice as to how to get started. Thanks so much!!
@christinehughes81106 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah. You can download your templates on a thumb drive and bring it to Staples or office store to print. You can also trace your templates instead of printing them and then just ink the edges yourself.
@jenofevedesigns6 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely! You can put them on any thumb drive and print them elsewhere if you don’t want to use your own ink.
