My first notebook was a traditional travelers note book, I made my own inserts, I only found ( I was thrilled). that you could buy pre-made inserts about 8-9 years ago. I am thrilled with the wider notebook, I guess it is an A-5. I have two of them.. I Do not have but three in total, each in leathers one T.N. and two A-5's I am finding I like the larger ones more and more. I tend to feel you buy quality they will last a life time. I have book case full of Loads of inserts. There in lie the treasure. I truly love to play in them. Your Chanel is a total delight and one of the things I like is your enthusiasm, your sense of joy and purpose and they are short and full of information. Love you bunch!

I’m a bit late here, sorry! I missed this comment. I’m not sure what they have available now. You can still find the Outlander fabric in other places or even have it made with sites like spoonflower. But you’d have to have someone to make it for you.

I know this video is a few years older but I saw that cream poka dot TN on carte diem website and its on sale. Problem is I can't tell if it's black pokadots or brown or mixed. I just went and checked mine and I’m sorry to say that they are black 😬 the elastic and pen loop too. Their floral one with typewriter font is a very very dark brown, though it looks black. At the cost of sounding ignorant, can someone tell me what a TN is used for. I understand the use of a monthly dated planner, which I use to remember doctor’s appointments, but I’m not sure about a TN. Thank you.

Hi Julie! You can use a TN for soooo many things. I think mostly it’s used as a planner. I’m a lefty so I don’t like the traditional ring binder planners, plus it’s more compact. But, you could use it as a journal, notebook, scrapbook, bullet journal, etc Or even a mix of any of these because you can add in multiple different inserts and each insert could serve a different purpose. I have one skinny traveler’s notebook which I love so much, but sadly it does not have any pockets on the front which I wish I could add, any ideas to customize it?

There are stick on pockets you can buy, but sometimes they aren’t very big. What if you added a folder pocket that you loop on the first elastic. If you are looking for pockets to decorate you could stick something to the front of an insert, like one of these projects in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nX3OmmmDjJKljZo You could even run a folder type thing under all the elastics so that you’d have it in the front cover. Hi! First off welcome to the wonderful world of TNs!! The standard for the inserts (notebooks) is 4.33x8.25 which makes the books about 5x9. There are lots of companies that make them, Carpe Diem, Webster’s Pages... a search on Amazon will give you a nice list! Hope that helps!!
