This comment is for anyone laying in bed, listening to this music and currently struggling with mental health issues. I want you to know you have made it this far, despite all your fallbacks, you are here, you are alive, it won't always be this difficult and you are more powerful than you realise. I love you and keep going❤❤❤

Looks like your maple syrup wasn’t hot enough. Needed to reach 235°F where the bubbles thickened it. Then pour it in strips and quickly roll it right away with a stick while it was still taffy consistency. But it seemed to work out okay. Hope you had hot maple coffee to clean out that tin cup! 🍁

The wildlife noises in the forest at night is absolutely amazing indeed. Luckily where I live, the biggest predators that would be around me are foxes and wolverines, so an extra thumbs up for your bravery. And the view at 12:43, just wow.

I wouldn't worry about foxes, but those oversized weasels are nasty. I have ferrets that can be a little rude at times.

I have been in the forest when it was minus 35 below zero fahrenheit and I have noticed that sound travels for miles.... as the air condenses sound travels farther and is more intense... the pop of a tree fracturing due to cold sounds like an M-80... It's beautiful with the clean clear air.... but ... can be extremely deadly if your not prepared....

When I heard that noise I was like oh no Bigfoot! Or Skinwalker 😅 You really tolerate that cold. 🥶 I don’t know how you do it. I would have stayed up all night because of the noises and because I would be throwing wood 🪵 in that stove all night lol But the next morning looked so beautiful! You were born for this. You were probably an explorer in your other life. Or frontiersman like Daniel Boone! 😊

About 2 months ago you built an off-grid secret cabin. I thought you were going to do the inside with furniture and do a video on it? It was amazing. You have epic skills and I love your videos in the snow/ winter. I'm a lover of it too. It's why when I retired August 2021 I moved to Montana. My apartment is 7 miles from the ski resort in Red Lodge. My living room window has view of the mountains and 🦌 come every day right up to my window. I even saw Moose once. Love it. Your adventures are awesome 😍

Thank you for your kind words about my videos and adventures! I really appreciate it. It sounds like you have an incredible view from your living room window in Montana. It must be amazing to see moose and be so close to the ski resort. If you enjoy outdoor activities like camping and exploring, I'd recommend checking out the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It's a versatile and powerful backup power solution that can keep your devices and appliances running for extended periods. The Cube Series offers features like massive capacity, fast recharging, and waterproof technology, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like us. Stay safe and enjoy your time in beautiful Montana!

I think I would plug all those cracks between the logs for the shelter and plugged the opening as well to help keep the heat inside. Also put branches from the trees on the ground to keep your body off the snow. Just sayin.

The Tetons are so beautiful; they're just about my favorite place on earth. I've only ever been there in summer, so you're lucky to be able to be there in winter, even if it only got winter there just recently. (iIn Illinois right now it's 61° and sunny.) This is an El Niño year, so I guess you're lucky that they looked even like they did, even though the lake wasn't frozen yet. Very merry Christmas and happy new year to you, and I look forward to seeing many videos from you this winter!

General question, but I've noticed in some of the bushcraft videos that no one seems to care that there is snow on the ground in the shelter. Is it not worth the time/calories spent to clear the ground, or does it not really matter when it's -20 below? I've camped without a tent in freezing temps, but never in anything like this. Just curious.
