Notice how clean everything is? The train, the hotel, even the streets. These people take pride in their country. We could learn a lot from them.

@@darindooley4509it's more because Japan is 96% Japanese when you have a country that is brought up on the same values morals and standards as the previous generations This is the outcome when people in the US always tell us that diversity is our greatest strength that's a bunch of BS.. I would go and live in Japan if they would allow it but they don't as well as they shouldn't You can only go and live in Japan if you bring something to the table not like here in the US Well all you have to do is just get over here illegally and then you going to start soaking up the benefits.. I go to Japan about once every 3 years it's a breath of fresh air You can walk down the streets at 3:00 a.m. not worry about a thing these children like five six years old ride these trains not these ones but other ones that are fast but they ride them trains by themselves can you imagine that here in the US They would be kidnapped and sold in the prostitution trade.. They actually have stores like small 7-Elevens or something like that That is not even manned by anyone it is a store on the honor system..👍

This video reminds me of my 2 previous trips to Hokkaido. First trip was by Shinkansen during the Autumn month and the 2nd trip was a driving trip from Sapporo airport to various parts of Hokkaido during the end of Summer. I remembered I had to wait till 9pm to drive up Mt Hakodate to avoid the crowd and to be able to find a parking lot. The night view was beautiful despite the cold wind and I could get a good spot to take photographs. In Hokkaido alone I saw alot of rain. A memorable trip indeed. Will visit again no doubt but this time winter

Very interesting and like the complimentaries on the Gran Class. I also like Seaport Villages/Cities like San Diego, CALIF. Although, with a debilitating medical condition, the Shin-Hakodate Hokuto area I'll live vicariously through our Travel Host (geek). What a coincidence that Hokkaido is a Japanese Sushi restaurant here in the boondocks of the Midwest (with limited business hours). It's a good place to eat 👍. Out here we do not have too many Asian eateries mostly fast food and Mexican places (over saturated ) 👀.

Actually, the long nose on the train isn't for streamlining. It's to reduce the aerodynamic shock when entering and leaving tunnels.
@drummerboy1390Ай бұрын
Correct. Before the long nose, the train was going so fast into tunnels it couldn’t shift the air in front of it fast enough. It was causing sonic booms.

In Mexico we have a brand new useless train in Yucatan , running at 80 km/h. To build it, thousands of hectares of forest were destroyed and many archaeological areas devastated. Unique geological features were also affected. It was a also a great private business promoted by a mad person in power and many criminals.
