Meet the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly, along with our three adventurous children. Nine years ago, we embarked on an incredible journey, leaving our home in Alaska, USA, behind to explore the world. As teachers, we were fortunate to find amazing opportunities in Chennai, India, where we spent two enriching years. Seeking new experiences, we then made our way to the United Arab Emirates.
Just as we were settling into our UAE life, the pandemic struck, but it didn't dampen our spirits. Instead, we saw it as an opportunity for another chapter in our journey. We moved to Indonesia, where we currently hold teaching jobs, and it has been a time of learning, growth, and connection.
As a family, we thrive on traveling and embracing the unknown. Adventures are our way of life, and through our experiences, we aim to inspire our children to be confident in meeting new people, trying diverse cuisines, and immersing themselves in different languages and cultures.

Your vlog is so entertaining in a unique and heartwarming way! I hope your channel can continue to grow more and more every day, and that you guys can get the recognition you deserve. Jonathan and Kelly are superhuman indeed because of how patient they are. I love how they always ask the kids how they feel and their opinions about anything. They always listen and respond when Forest talks, even when he's just a baby and sometimes mumbling words. It always amazes me how strong they are, traveling and vlogging with three children, and they never complain when Forest wants to be held. Granite and Cedar are beautiful and smart kids. I see that they are more emotionally stable than most adults I know. They are also very humble with strangers and very open to different cultures. They seem to always take care of each other. Last but not least, Mr. Wobbly Legs, aka the kerupuk lover, is very cute. His smile and thumbs up when trying a meal always brighten my day. He's still a baby, but I see that he's compassionate and always finds a way to enjoy the day, even when he's tired. I know your kids are going to appreciate what you've taught them and the time you've spent with them. I wish your family the best health and many more great adventures ahead.

If you had a plans to go to Sleman-Jogja, you can come to resto “Jejamuran”. Jamur means mushroom. So almost all the dishes are made from various of mushroom, like mushroom satay, mushroom katsu, mushroom soup, grilled mushroom, omelette mushroom, and many others. Cause when you guys are looking for food, Kelly was the most difficult to get vegetarian menu 😅 So I think she would like “Jejamuran” dishes so much

Jogja and the eastern part of Jawa island is all about SWEET FOOD. Soo actually, not everyone's taste. I also dont like my food too sweet. Some gudeg for example, too sweet. Their fried noodle and fried rice also more in the sweet side than the salty side..
