McDonald’s in Vietnam does have its regional choices but I always go for the standard big Mack combo . Ordering the big Mack combo can tell you just how authentic this McDonald’s is and I have to say it’s 100% the same as in the USA . They always do a great job of putting it together and the meat is imported but bread and vegetables sourced locally. At about $3.60 USD for the combo it can’t be beat one of the cheapest in the world on the Big Mac index. In the USA that would be double the price and some of the restaurants would not be safe to eat in with some actually having bullet proof glass to protect the employees. Other good choices are Texas Chicken ( Churches Chicken in US ) POPEYES and Burger King they are all about 95 % accurate on the taste of original menu items but also have local taste options.KFC is good but is totally different from the USA I would say about 70% accurate on the flavours some like it more than the original but I prefer the original western flavour of the Classic KFC greasy dirty bird . I would recommend staying away from the LOTTERIA burgers they are nothing like in Japan really horrible and Jolly Bee is pretty disgusting as well . American fast food is the way to go when in Vietnam

Itis totally failed in Vietnam because Vietnamese food is so cheap, so delicious, so tasty so healthy, SO FAST (faster than fast food) and people have variety of choice. Vietnamese food is good for everyone and you can say it is like medicine. We don’t eat fast food to kill ourself. Imported fast food here in Vietnam just for local to experience it one or twice a year or 2 years when going out. We don’t destroy our health.
