We are back in India! It has been 5 years since we left Chennai, but it feels good to be back “home.” Now, we never spent much time in Delhi when we lived here, so now we are coming back to explore the sights, sounds, and tastes of Incredible India. Join us as we explore the streets of Delhi for the first time. We will be traveling on foot, by auto rickshaw, and on the metro in this video. We eat at our favorite South Indian restaurant (Saravanan Bhavan) and then later load up on Indian street food. We will give you a tour of our budget hotel, as well. We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. Guys it's incredibly sad that you didn't visited akshardham temple, it's one of the most beautiful monument in all of India, even prettier than Taj Mahal, their cloak room system is flawless, literally millions of people use it annually , please give it a visit don't miss it if you're still in Delhi. There's incredibly tight security in the temple premises because of Islamic terrorist strikes from our neighbouring country pakistan , that happened in early 2000s.

Paharganj in Old Delhi is worst place in the country where most foreigners go when they land first in India. it's a pattern that worst places in India are most visited by foreign tourists and best places are least visited by them. India's tourism ministry is not doing enough to make foreign tourists know about best places in India. by the time local Indians recommend good and beautiful places foreigners are already gone.

Sorry Government of India has banned Tribal Tourism in Andaman and Nicobar Islands due to protection of their privacy from outside world. However there are plenty of Tourist places to explore in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Tourists have been completely prohibited from entering tribal territory, especially after Sentinel Tribe killing an American Baptist Christian who secretly invaded their territory for spreading Christianity. There are plenty of Tourist Spots across Andaman and Nicobar Islands but Tribal Tourism is completely banned which I believe is great step towards protection of our Indigenous Tribes.
