I'm a sighted person on "be my eyes". I would love to get a call for describing the view. I only have gotten grocery store questions "where is the salted land oh lakes butter" "which is store brand 1% milk" "is this ham or turkey" still every fun to provide my eyes for a few minutes to another.

What a wonderful video! I've been visually impaired since 2011 due to my diabetes and I love seeing what you're working on and how you're helping the visually impaired and blind community. Great work!

This was awesome! Scary and gave me anxiety watching it too! Especially when the worker asked if she could take your cane 😬... Such a cool opportunity!

Hi James, I'm really enjoying your videos - they are such high quality! I am visually impaired and started my channel this year in the hope of finding people like me! I enjoy travelling (but not the flying part!) and I am always interested in the accessibility of different locations! Keep up the good work! :)

Hi dear James! Thank you so much for this amazing video! Very well done and impressive, I just loved it! Actually i travelled to Turkey many times already and indeed accessibility and tactile indicators and braille presence everywhere have increased immensely in the last years. This is due to the efforts of a handful of people in Istanbul continously and relentlessly fighting for awareness and accessibility. (Greetings to Mustafa and Uğur and the rest of the gang 💕🤗...) Also the current government has put guaranteeing employment for visually impaired people and people with other disabilities as a priority in their agenda. Istanbul is an awesome city and I hope all of us can have a chance soon again to travel there... and also to many other places of course... Best of luck for your projects, i adore your videos 👍yours Astrit

I LOVED THIS JAMES, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I always listen/watch your videos, but rarely comment - but this inspired me to. Technology is a great thing, and it brings The World to us, and Us to The World. I only lost my sight 2 years ago, and wonder how the heck people managed years and years ago. I wish the turkcell app was available over here, that sounds amazing thanks again James, stay safe and well - ps hope your girlfriend enjoyed whatever the gift was that you bought for her - and happy anniversary :-) Terry

Actiview was an app that was working to do something similar. It was very limited on titles but it was purchased by Spectrum recently which may add to the library of available AD titles.

WWoooww. I'm still fairly newly visually impaired, and need directions in places like Walgreens to find their drink coolers now. So I have no idea what's both safe and achievable as a visually impaired international traveller now. The last time I flew out of Dulles in DC, the dude asked me to use a wheelchair and I was down for it because it allowed him to go at his top speed so he could help more people, plus I can get really tired unexpectedly. So if they ask you to use a wheelchair sometime, I hope you don't take it as a loss.

Thank you for this, I’m a blind traveller and I always explain to people how I can appreciate The beauty of the country, city or landscape even without Sight. If this project has been launched have you been able to get it into America? I live in the UK and if there’s anything I can do to help share and promote it, just let me know. Sassy Wyatt :)

Sunglasses are different from eyeglasses. Sunglasses help anyone with albinism as our eyes are under developed causing photophobia with the sun/lights.
