I have a nystagmus but I could control it whenever I want so I guess lucky me😑

Just discovered that not only do I have albinism, but I am a carrier for ALL of them. I literally can't tan, although I do freckle very heavily, so it's conflicting. It does make me feel better for a younger me who was constantly made fun of for how bright white I was (am) and how the only thing the sun does is burn me.

I have congenital nystagmus which means I’ve had it since birth. I’ve had two surgeries since I was born and I’m 13, my vision is around 20/50 or 20/60 when a normal person is 20/20. My surgeries has been to change my null point and now I turn my head to the side and look out of the corner of my eye to see. It’s hard but I’ve always adapted. Leave a comment about your nystagmus!!❤❤

Imagine a device like this that can be implanted in your brain to manipulate your mind to create images of all the objects it detects. That would truly be groundbreaking for people with sight problems, personally i would have one implanted just for the fun of it :)

if you are just driving around, walking around, enjoying the view but (not using the amenities like bathroom and grills) then under the law you actually don't need to pay for a pass.

Im legally blind and have Anaridia, readers help sort of but nothing ever normalizes my vision at all so shooters are very difficult for me but i still have fun for what i can do. I wanna play Rust so badly but because the art style is so detailed id be really bad at playing it so i cant really play it despite me really wanting to :( i wish I had a way to at least even the playing field for me because im at a huge disadvantage. Every time i watch people play the game 95% of the time theyre sniping with close/mid range weapons and i cant see the people theyre shooting at because theyre so far away to me but theyre very visible to them. It feels like everyone has wall hacks when they dont

This is the first video im watching from you and I was wondering if you could give your thoughts on a relationship where both disabilities are interacting? My wife is completely blind (both eyes prosthetic) but was able to see until her mid 20s. I have severe ADHD that I was also diagnosed as a young child (5 for me). We work very hard to accommodate both of our challenges, but it can be very difficult and clashing at times. Such as my need to have things out and visible so that Im less likely to forget something exists, but that can cause lots of issues with her needing spaces where can feel for what she needs without knocking things down or not being able to find it. I thought you might have some interesting perspectives or advice as someone who has both impairments. Thank you!

I have a few retinal problems, and I'm considered visually-impaired because of them. The constant uncertainty about future vision changes is definitely there, but we've just got to stay positive, and live our lives! I love watching your content, there's a lot of relatable bits for me, but we always can learn from each-other. Greetings from England.

This didn't really explain how he uses the computer. Like how does he actually USE it. You know, when he was finding the website to read the article? When he was pressing the buttons and moving the mouse? How does he know his way around the internet and know where to go??

I am so glad I found you on this because I myself is visually impaired, I could see to some degree but things are very distorted and out of whack for me so it makes me to where I see things that’s not a natural. I’m just glad I found somebody like you on this channel that I follow that understands what I’m going through, I myself have gone to a couple schools certified and some computer technology. My next step is to get my scholarship that I have still holding for me through another blind school to get my IT and cyber security degree believe it or not. There is cyber security out there for blind people to do. I jokingly tell the visual people beware of us visually impaired people are coming for your jobs lol but again thank you for having this site and talking about your visual impairment and how you’ve accomplished things you give us that are visually impaired a lot of insight and a lot of hope that is out there that visual people do not understand that we can work and accomplish things like they can

I started using one in the last few weeks. i am registered sight impaired with a progressive eye condition and I'm learning now before my eye sight gets worse. I have little vision in my peripheral and if this stops me hurting myself then so much the better. I'm loving the freedom it is already bringing me.

Around 5 min. in but could be throughout....your video there is a pipp-ing sound a Staccato ringing and use of same in typing foley, a very annoying piano, annoying music! It is competing with your voice! Do you know what foley is? its sound that is not original but made up by sound designer to make noise in movies etc like horses clapping sound made with objects...its been made for your typing sound. It overrides your voices so that your voice together with the audio imposed is so annoying and un listenable!!!! Someone can unlink your recorded voice with the "music" and foley so that your video isn't worthless for those that can benefit!!! , please take me seriously, your information is valuable. Also, the voice reader is a problem...you are talking and it is talking at the same time. Very difficult to hear. you!

I'm very curious as to know how a love life would conspire between a deaf and blind person. Im guessing he's the blind one, or I'm not paying attention. I guess my real question is if a blind and deaf individual were to attract the attention of someone that was attracted to them, how would they know if they have an equal attraction. My theory is it would be the perfect relationship. Considering the obvious. I'm trying to zero in on possible scenarios but my adhd mind has me allover with this one. Is there anyone with a skill of explaining things to dummies like me? This really does have my complete attention. Any Intel is welcomed. Kthanksluvubye.

There is another form of nystagmus, voluntary nystagmus, you can do voluntary nystagmus on command you only notice it if you accidentally focus on something for too long and you can control it, for me if i focus on my finger and something it happens but only when i want it too
