Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I guess you get used to the traffic after a while.

Just doing some recollection there and the last time I was in Laredo was May of 2001. Oh man , doesn’t feel that long ago. .

Wow! That's been a while. 2001 was the year I started driving. It seems like yesterday.

@ in 2001 I had a brand new Classic XL Shaker with a 12.7 Detroit and a Super 10 transmission . I was a company driver going coast to coast north to south with not a care in the world.

@@flyingpaddy7525 That's a great truck to go coast in. You don't hear the term super 10 much anymore. I actually liked them, I'd love to drive another one. Have you ever heard of a Proformance 9?

@ is that the one that has two gears in the top gear that changes automatically? I would run a Super 10 no problem. I had one in Pete 379 with a 6NZ and you could walk her up through the gears floating them and never go over 1300rpm. In fairness those Cats and up into the Acerts could run at low rpm just on a pull you had to get the revs up to keep them cool.

@flyingpaddy7525 It didn't shift automatically. It was a standard transmission with 4 gears on the low and 5 on the high. It was in an early 90's freightliner with a black n-14, the small n-14 that was like 370 horse. That was the only truck I saw with that transmission.

I was eyeballing the shift points of your DT-12 transmission and at 7:29 it looks like you are at; 1400 rpm, 53 mph and 11th gear. I wondered what the shift point was to 12th gear and why the computer didn't already have it in 12 when the engine makes torque at 1,000 and 1,100 rpm.

I'm not sure. That load was 30k, so maybe it goes a little higher in the rpm when loaded. Or I could have been going up a slight incline. I looked at my info on the door today. It has 455hp and 1750 torque.
Keep your truck in a good market for the best revenue.
