I had been in Shanghai as well, what a beautiful city looking from either side of the river -- PaoTun and PaoSie . Was there in 2007 and 2009, I felt Shanghai had surpassed New Year in many ways even back then dozen years ago.

I think the night time is so RELAXING after working and its safe & beautiful in most major 1st tier cities in China, night lives is for Younger people, to date, walk around, see the scenery........ take lots of selfies, The morning belongs to the elderly in the parks, with their daily exercise and whatever activities they partakes in ? whats not to love?😍 You're so LUCKY........Damn i wished I could just jump into the screen and enjoy the vibrancy of the whole cities night life. 😃

I agree with you Rafale, you should stay at Shanghai for another 6 months and explore the surrounding cities also during your stay. You have Hangzhou to the southwest, Suzhoz and Wuxi to the west, Changzhou and Nanjing (Ancient Capital) to the northwest and Nantong to the north, all major cities nearby for you to make lots of nice videos. Have you visited the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland Hotel yet?

All I can tell it is from the west side of the Huangpu River at the Bund. It must be from the lower floors in one of the skyscrapers. If you like the view, there are many restaurants and bars right by the river on the ground level on the west side of the Bund.

@Sioux S , I don’t remember the name of those restaurants. On the ground level right by the river, there was one Italian bar restaurant I visited. They have all kids of food and drinks. You can sit outdoor or indoor. It depends on the temperature of the day. I had mojito and Long Island.

@@sioux8 , No problem. There are a few bars on the east side of the Bund as well. One of them is at the rooftop. The other one is close to the north end of the Bund (East side). There was an Australian bouncer who has been there for over a decade.
