@@Onrust1 I live in north sweden, great videos, just giving you some travel tips, road trip up swedens east coast, and all the way up to Nortcape in norway and then follow Norways west coast down, its amazing, there is a lot of campings in sweden, and great wheter during summer months good for swiming in the ocean, at leat in sweden. Norway is always a bit coold, if you decide to go let me know 👌 best regards

Ik ben toch wel eerlijk gezegd heel benieuwd wat zoiets kost. Dus de bouw + aanschaf. Zitten zelf altijd met een camper namelijk. En dat is al niet goedkoop, dus zo''n mooie bus al helemaal niet. Maar het is zo heerlijk om vrij te zijn om zelf te beslissen waar je naar toe wil gaan, en wat je ziet. Dat maakt het het allemaal waard.

I used to drive single and double deck buses.. Never liked sitting upstairs if they were moving, if I caught one as a passenger. 4:05 right before going under the bridge I would be thinking is driver sure it will fit thoughts.. if you been there before it makes it easier to adapt to.. I've seen a lot of RVs both commercially and home built and this one is always one of my personal favourites.. 12:40 Lambs for life. I hope someone knew that saucepan looked to be boiling?

I live and work in Washington DC and know that not all of the wind turbines are connected to electric utility because they are separate private companies. So many turbines spin in vain on the west coast, especially: CA, OR, WA states. where wind is abundant, but the utilities don't utilise them

Another US viewer here. Love this bus! I don't think professionals could have done a better job. I have one question though. Here in the US you will never know what's ahead of you down the road. The next overpass could be lower than your bus is high. How do you deal with this issue (if it is an issue in Holland)?

Thank you! Yes, that is an issue in whole of Europe. However, the highways and main roads are all accessible for the largest trucks, and those are 4 meters, so if you stick to those roads, you're fine anyway. Go off, however, and you'll have to be watching your steps, yes. 😊 Most overpasses have good signs, and furthermore I like to think I developed some kind of sixth sense for the height issue... I hope I'm right. 😆

To be honest, I would like to live like this in the near future. With this pandemic changing a lot of things, I would want to just do online consultations as work, send money online and let me enjoy remote life quietly with my wife. If I want to get away, I'd just take the whole house with me. LOL

Thank you. The camera is just a cheap action cam (Denver). Recently I bought me a GoPro, so I suspect the images even to get better. I have the 8 Black. I haven't yet used it that much, but already like it. I just use it's own battery. It goes a long time and I bought it in a kit (with the chest mount) and that came with an extra battery and an external charging station.

Beautiful bus. I'm looking at an RV here in the US and wondering if you have looked at filtering the gray water, especially while showering to increase your time between water refills? They say it is really life changing.

I don't know about the life changing part. 😊 I looked into it and decided not to do it. It takes quite some place this installation. We have a 600 liters fresh water tank, and that is sufficient for us. But yes, the grey water tank is the first one to be full, so we tend to use the shower of the camp sites where we stay, and not our own. Come to think of it, I designed the bus with a place to stay in mind with a direct water connection and a sewer connection. We didn't stay at such a place yet. 😋

Have you thought of adding a roof terrace... it would be great to be outside enjoying the view and weather on top of the bus.

It never was something I considered. First it isn't easy, because this vehicle already is 4 meters high, which is the road legal limit over here, so building something on top is not impossible, but not easy, second I know the roof is vulnerable for leaks, so that makes me somewhat hesitant beginning something like this and third for the environment on a campsite, the people around you, it is more 'open' to be in a chair next to the bus than on the roof. Although I've seen buses with roof terraces (and even recorded them - kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppSzhqqPiqadmMk and kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppSzhqqPiqadmMk ) I have yet no regrets.

hi Onrust you achieved alot with the relisation of this Bus. I think its a one of a kind Project. That being said - did you encounter any vibration caused issues while driving it? Like strange noises of some random panel while driving or stuff is getting loose because of the Vibrations caused by the tires / roads ? And - since iam from Germany i would like to know how the Dutch Government gives out permissions to actually streetlegal drive things like this on the Road. Here in Germany youd have to see one of those TÜV Inspectors and he basicly could outright deny you the permission..

Nein, keine Probleme mit Geräusche. Das schwierigste ist Flaschen mitnehmen - die fangen manchmal an zu rollen im Schrank. Und man darf eben niemals vergessen einen Schrank zu schließen. Da kann in die Kurve alles raus fallen (passiert auch). Die lage mit Kennzeichen ist glaube ich in DE gleich wie in NL. Wo eine Wille ist, ist ein Weg. Es gibt viele Deutschen die mit einen Doppeldecker rund fahren. (Wir sammeln uns bei www.wohnbusse.eu.)

Wir waren zu Pfingsten noch an der Schiedersee (Schieder-Schwalenberg), so wie jedes Jahr. Da gibt es auch Video's davon in dieses Kanal.. Und in 2016 haben wir Urlaub gemacht in D, und in 2017 waren wir auf durchreise nach Tschechien und Österreich auch einige Tage dort.. 😊

Ik heb al het ruwe materiaal voor een 'techniek'-video opgenomen, maar kon me er niet toe zetten om daar een video van samen te stellen, omdat ik bang was dat die erg saai zou worden... Over waterzuivering heb ik nagedacht, maar het bewust niet gedaan omdat het complex is, duur, onnodig en veel ruimte in beslag neemt. Zelfs grijswater nemen voor het toilet leek me geen goed idee, met het oog op de vervuiling die je niet in je systeem wilt...

Prachtige bus! Met een 11 liter 6 cilinder diesel.. is het wat te doen qua wegenbelasting en verbruik?

Belasting is mij erg meegevallen: 220 euro / kwartaal. Verbruik heb ik nog maar één keer echt kunnen meten en dat was onder de minst gunstige omstandigheden (veel bergen - van Tsjechië naar Duitsland) en toen deed hij 1 : 2,5, ik ga er van uit dat dat hier in NL 1 : 3 a 1 : 4 is.

Ja die airco was onze redding.. overigens staat hij nu een heel klein beetje te verwarmen.. net van 18 naar 20 graden..
