Pro tip for Global Entry. I live in Columbia, SC. The closest place for an interview would be Charlotte, NC for me. Like you said, all the places are booked or don’t have anything until later in the year. Search for places with availability/openings. You can do this at the top. A 7 AM interview for 09/11 at JFK popped up for me. If I'm not mistaken, there was one more interview later this month and two more dates in October came up with one or two appointments. Anywho. I booked a flight for less than $100 out of Charleston, SC. Left 09/09. Stayed with family in Brooklyn. Interview 09/11 was very quick. Notification of my status changed to approved before I walked out the terminal after the interview. Flew back to SC yesterday. The $97.80 for the ticket was worth it. Should have my card in hand within a couple weeks.😉

I would suggest you do not book the inaugural cruise of the Treasure. It's always better to ket them smooth out the "kinks". There are ALWAYS issues with an inaugural sailing. Book at least not until about the 4th or 5th cruise.

Fortunately the Mc Donalds is about 925 feet away from you. Pretty convenient! Loved the “contemporary” room there. Very cool! Glad they hooked you up there. The perks of massive viewership! I pass by there on an almost daily basis. Yes, I DO feel guilty for the McDonalds but I’ll admit I have had the breakfast burritos from that one more than a few times. I DO love flying out of John Wayne but for most of my international travel it is SO much more expensive than LAX and always involves a layover somewhere. For luggage I always use the AWAYS line. Lifetime guarantee which means a LOT for as many times I fly a year. Yes, Global Entry is a HUGE time savor if you travel internationally, plus the TSA Pre is amazing domestically. WELL worth it. I always travel with a collapsable water flask that lives in my jacket. I fill it up in the lounge or filling station. Saves me a lot on the overpriced water at the gate. Lol… BTW, 4 hrs is NOT a “long” flight. Anything under 7 hours doesn’t even count. 13 hours to Tokyo, 18 to AUS, anything under that doesn’t even qualify! In spite of that, thanks for the updates…. Love ya bunches!

There are appointment scanner services that can help with getting Global entry interviews. I was able to get interviews for my family of 4 within three weeks of using the service!

Watch for walk in days for global entry. I’m in Louisville KY they had a week where you can just walk in appointments. I got my approval number in 24 hrs and my global number within a week.

Kyle you should stay at one of the many hotels that have free buffet breakfast. Residence Inn convention Centre has a very large buffet and hot breakfast room. Mickey waffles. No need for McDonald’s.

Why didn't you purchase the Breeze Ascent "first class" seats for you and Casey? Woulda been great for the vlog to show that experience. I've heard they are very cheap upgrades from regular economy compared to mainstream airlines like United, Delta and American to MCO.

10:22 are you sure you can’t order with a person because our McDonald’s in NY also has more livable wages for fast food workers and we have the screens or you can still walk up to the person handing out the orders you can see here. I personally use the app but im pretty confident you an still go to a person if you ask lol Also nexus is WAY better than global entry lol it includes global entry and TSA pre ✔ no one ever considers it!

I’m surprised you did not capture footage of the therapy dogs in the airport for nervous flyers. They have a volunteer program where volunteers come in with their dogs and you can stop and pet their dog to help you feel calm before flying. I love that program and wish it was in all airports! Maybe you didn’t see them?

I love travel days, because I don’t fly, but I love watching other people fly. I’m going to take my kids out to Disneyland next summer, but I’m planning a cross country road trip from Florida. Wish me luck. ☘️ I don’t feel bad about eating McDonald’s, occasionally. We’re Americans, That’s what we do. Sometimes you need a Mc chicken in your life. Or a hash brown. I had a big Mac yesterday. And I try to eat clean. But it was totally worth it. I haven’t had one in months. 🍔 Oh and one last thing 😂 Our governor needs to leave Disney alone. He annoys me most of the time. He’s always fight with people, I mean, I like the fact that he kept Florida open during the pandemic. But OMG stop already. ✌🏻
