The whale’s tail in the snow says it all. Very emotional for me, since going to Antarctica is the oldest dream of my life-I’ve dreamed of going there for seventy years. In a way, you have brought me there. Thanks, Mads.

I'm so glad that you finally made it to Antarctica! As a mere participant on this trip, I can highly recommended to any photographer who wants a meaningful high quality experience to take a trip with this team (Mads, Nigel, and James and others) if they plan a future trip. This trip was absolutely incredible, magical, and life changing.... and this was only day 1 of many excursions and landings. I learned so much and very grateful for your talents, gracious assistance and putting together the experience. I can't wait to see your future videos. ,

Fantastic work, Mads! Your video takes us along on your incredible journey to Antarctica, giving us a window into the world's most remote continent. Your attention to detail, from the route maps to the transit scenes, and finally the breathtaking Antarctic vistas, makes for a compelling narrative. The effort you've put into planning this trip and capturing its essence is truly commendable. Your work not only entertains but educates, offering a deeper appreciation for the majestic landscapes and the adventurous spirit required to explore them. Looking forward to seeing more of your remarkable photographic exploits!

Like always Mads, you made some very nice pictures. When I was stationed at McMurdo Station between 1985 and 1988 (summer season), I had a Yashica 35 mm film camera that I really didn’t know how to use properly. I wish I had my mirrorless camera that I own now. Thanks for taking me back there. Can’t wait to see the next one.

I get a lot of inspiration from your videos close to home. I can’t always go on long trips. I go out a lot near my home. I’m blessed to be in a great location with lots of woodlands, but it’s hard to find new ways to look at it. And your videos help. I like your trips but I get value from the close to home. Do what you like, that is the most meaningful. And it’s valuable! Looking forward to seeing the van renovation. You do you my friend, and I’ll keep watching!!

I was just there this December. I lucked out with the weather for 3/5 of my days there, it was really an incredible experience. I wasn't able to get all the shots I was looking for but with my amateur APS-C gear I was quite happy with the results. I envy you for not having to cross the drake passage by sea - it did not treat me well... but at least I got some really cool bird shots on the way back.

I must admit, after finding great humor in the video clips of the penguins waddling around on the ice, I was surprised at how emotionally touching your still images were. I kept thinking "they're so small, and their environment is so overwhelming and unforgiving." It told a story that truly moved me.

I am sorry, but you and your friends bring wealthy amateurs to Antarctica. One of the last untouched nature resort of the world, which is to be protected and where humans better stand away of. This is may be fun and profitable, but not really nice.
@KGi49 ай бұрын
I am pretty sure its huge struggling for photography comes with this expansive trip. First it stinks from penguin so get ready to smell it when you go in land in penguin colonies. Secondly you are always in controlled environment so no much freedom to roam around and look up for composition opportunities or stay for catching changing lights. Third you are mosly locked on same boat with so its photography making best out moment captures. I think this trip is nice to experience Antarctica but not much offering for photography as would it be like Iceland..
@txemarifk77449 ай бұрын
¿Hater? No.
