You can come to Syria anytime. As a Greek Citizen you can get a tourist visa at the Syrian Embassy near Beirut, Lebanon. It usually takes 4 to 5 working days to get the visa (in any case the only way for you to fly to Syria is Athens to Beirut and from Beirut you can catch a bus or shared taxi to Damascus).

This is the first time I've seen a travel vlog from Syria and it's so fascinating! The media usually shows Syria in a very different & negative way so I'm happy to see you documenting your travels there and showing the beautiful sides. It's hearthbreaking to see so many parts of the world, including Syria, being at war and people having to leave their homes. It would be super interesting to travel to this part of the world myself, really hope I'll be able to visit Syria and other countries in the region someday.

As a Syrian, this video has been so emotional to watch. I moved out 6 months before the war, and went only once in 2019. It has changed a lot, the people's faces have changed, the atmosphere. The country endured a terrific war, people were displaced and scattered to say the least. I hope one day we go back to our beautiful Syria and be able to reconstruct it.

I have also traveled the world. It is such a shame that the people who need to watch your videos won't because more than anyone, they need to understand that we ARE all people who want the same for our families etc. Beyond the generalizations, thank you for showing us real life in a part of the world that is bursting at the seams with history, beauty and culture but one that has suffered so terribly (I will refrain from pointing fingers). This is the kind of content that should be mandatory watching for our kids so that they learn not to fear but rather embrace the world.

I really liked this video. I watched it all the way through. I was so surprised how things seemed so normal. After all the country has been through. I did not realize the beauty of the city. I had know idle. You showed it all so well with your video. You guys are the best at showing and explaining places. I always look forward to every single video you guys put out. You guy are number one when it comes to travel sites on Y tube. You could feel the awe you guys had of the place. Ok enough. It was one of your bests. Thanks Rick Indianapolis Indiana

Considering he’s probably a refugee, the last thing he wants is people giving money to the regime that tortures its people. Syria is beautiful, but this isn’t the way to support it. This is like someone in the 1940s visiting nazi Germany to show German culture

I'm just so saddened that the people in Syria have to live in an environment that's so obliterated by war. Was once a beautiful spot on the Mediterranean.

I did this trip back in 2006 - I think it was. Very nostalgic to see it again - and to see how things have changed. 😥 We were basically free to move around on our own back then, no guides required - though I do remember a hairy run in with the police when we went on a day trip, but left our passports back at the hotel. All's well that ends well though. Interested to see the rest of the series! 👏👏👏

Excelent as always. I was looking forward to the start of the series in Syria. I have been seeing other youtubers from that place but you are my favorites and I want to know that land through your eyes. How interesting to know that Julia has voyeuristic inclinations! ha ha I sincerely hope that all is well with you and that soon you can be more active on other social networks. I miss your posts on Ig and Patreon and those round videos on Telegram!! Much love from Buenos Aires
