We spent 3 weeks there 23 years ago and we were the 3rd and 4th tourists in the country for the year and that was in June. Great place and great people. The best beach is right down the lagoon to the south. A small island at the end of the lagoon. Great fishing on the island. We arrived on a Sunday from Fiji and by Tuesday we had a full-blown cyclone hit the island.Cyclone Keli June 1997.

How people earn living in Tuvalu? I was just wondering. I grew up in India too & then moved to the US. I am always fascinated about distant places though. It was sad to know how once Tuvalu used to be the richest country & then everything went downhill.

Least visited in the world ?? wow, I'm glad I have visited it, it's sad they are dealing with sea level rise though.. It's a nice place to be, you can stand on one side of the country on the beach and see the surf on the other side of the country. I visited there in the 1980's with the Australian Navy. When we sailed into the bay, there was the classic patch of sand with a single coconut tree, like in the cartoons :D
